Just then, a knock came from outside the study door, "Young Master, I have brought Fulan here. Are you available now?"
"Come in directly," Kael said softly.
As soon as he finished speaking, the large door of the study was opened, and the Chief Maid of Lord Mansion entered leading a small cat-eared girl.
She didn't seem to like talking much.
While following the Chief Maid, she constantly tried to hide behind her.
Seeing her behavior, the Chief Maid sighed and gracefully made an apologetic gesture, saying,
"Young Master Kael, I am very sorry, Fulan is just too nervous."
Kael shook his head and said, "Nervousness is normal. Suddenly being called over by a stranger in this world would certainly scare a child.
Be at ease, I am merely curious."
Upon hearing what Kael had said, the faint tension in the Chief Maid's eyes disappeared.
Although she had no idea what Young Master Kael wanted to do, he had asked about Fulan as soon as he returned that afternoon.
