Standing on a bare rock, a Gluttonous Slime the size of a wolfhound stepped back in pain, a huge gash in its round body like a bitten chunk from an apple.
Looking to flee in panic, it was immediately encircled by two approaching professionals.
Their movements were swift, without a moment's hesitation. The leader, upon spotting it, swung his Nail Head Hammer, terrifying the slime into a frenzied escape.
The Gluttonous Slime couldn't understand why, though previously not many humans possessed Extraordinary Powers and were within a manageable range for them, now almost every human that came here had such powers.
These humans were as numerous as locusts!
Clearly, the Gluttonous Slime was unaware of the changes in the outside world.
