The witch held a wine glass in her hand, as Sapphire tilted the bottle, filling her glass with one-third full of red wine.
Sapphire seemed somewhat bothered by what Miss Franca had said, muttering as she poured the wine:
"Miss, you always say that I am a magic creation and cannot understand the human heart, but Miss Sibel has clearly told me that I do have my own feelings.
Sapphire isn't stupid. When Sapphire loses something, she also thinks, 'the thing I lost must be trying to find its way back to me too!'
So, since Miss Sibel left Master Kael, and they can no longer see each other, they must both be missing each other."
Sapphire's words silenced the witch for a long while, until she eventually just swirled her wine glass and downed it in one gulp, the blood-like red wine leaving a solitary drop that quietly fell from her lips, spreading through the pool water.
