Valeria's POV 🎉
I woke up to a brightful morning and could hear the sounds of birds chirping in the sky.
I flinched when I turned my head to my side to meet eyes with Jevan who was seated with his arms crossed on a couch opposite my bed .
"What the hell?!".
"Good morning beautiful,thank God you're awake now", He said smirking.
"What's the meaning of all these? Why didn't you knock before entering? "Huh?! are you dumb?. I said making sure to sound pissed.
"I knocked several times till my knuckles got hurt but couldn't hear any response from you". So, I decided to barge in instead",he said feigning innocence.
"That's a lame excuse! Listen to me very carefully, don't you ever barge in my room again!. Hope I got myself clear?", I said pointing a finger at him in a threat kind of way.
"Tsk, tsk, someone's forgotten I own this house and her room". "So you see? I can do whatever I want to do Apple", he said with a shrug .
Someone help me I don't kill this guy with my bare hands right now!
"You've got to start packing up some clothes ,wash down and come down for breakfast", Mr Annoying said like it's an order,then turned around ready to head towards the door.
"Excuse me?!. You can't just barge into my room especially while I'm still in bed and give me useless orders like this!.
He stopped on his way, with him facing the door and his back facing me.
"You are my responsibility now ,Apple. " You have to listen to me and do as I say. " I'll be held responsible in case something happens to you". I don't care if you think they're orders or commands. "All I want is for you to calm down and obey my instructions for the better", Jevan said as he turned to face me. He somewhat held a worried expression.
I became furious now. I got down from bed heading straight to where he stood to face him squarely and pointed my index finger polished with my long manicured nails at him.
"Are you even listening to yourself?!
Why the hell should I obey you son of a bitch? Are you stupid?
"You can't be giving me orders just like that!
"I don't care however you take that but you have to comply". " Hurry up and pack up some stuffs, before we miss our flight", he said with a smirk and turned to leave while I stood there fuming in rage, totally angry with him and this whole mess I'm in right now. "In the first place, I'm pissed off at my parents and myself,for agreeing to be taken care of by this idiot. Everything that comes out of his mouth is like an order. I just hate how he takes my reactions for granted.
I took a pillow from my bed and threw it at the direction of the door where he just exited, but he was gone.
Ugh! I wish I could threw it right at him to show how serious I am! Stupid man!
"Haa...",sighing audibly and trying to calm myself down,I headed to the bathroom to paste and take a warm bath. In less than 40 minutes,I dried myself and wrapped a fluffy white towel on my body ,then one on my head.
I headed straight to my closet to put on a bra and red lace panties,a black v-neck croptop exposing off my cleavage and a mini white short shorts. Looking into the dressing mirror, I tied my jet black hair up in a messy bun with some tendrils on the sides of my face.
I packed up some clothes into two of my luggages not forgetting to take my makeup kits along then headed downstairs with it, struggling to carry my luggages in the process.
On my way, a man around his early forties that I haven't met here before approached me .
"Good morning ma'am, I'm Sam,master's driver for today. I was told by master to come for your luggages to the car ", he said
I dropped down the luggages with a huff, clearly exhausted already.
"Sorry, who's that your master? And why are you now coming for my luggages?
"I'm sorry ma'am but I was just told to come for it",he said with both hands behind him .
"Take it away", I said in dismissal it as soon as he completed his statement . He hurriedly took it away. I went straight to the kitchen to find Lillian packing up some food .
"O hello dear,how was your night?.", She asked smiling but I answered her by giving her a little nod.
I took a tub of sweet apple flavoured yoghurt and some digestive cookies for breakfast. I started to eat when something crossed my mind and I needed to ask someone about this.
Where the hell are we travelling to?
I looked at a very busy Lillian who was packing in some snacks.
"Where are we going?".
Lillian smiled at me as soon as I asked her that question.
"I knew you'd ask me that". "Well.., we are going to visit Jevan's grandmother who lives at New Jersey". " It's been awhile since the old woman saw her grandson",she continued.
What?!
"Grandmother? Then why's he taking us along if it's just a visit and we'll be getting back in no time?"
"Val, we're going to be staying there for only a month or two, don't know my brother's plans.
"Oh? One thing I want to tell you is, he has a company in New Jersey and has left it for five years without stepping foot there". So, another reason for his visit to NJ is to check how things are going so far after he left it you know as a CEO",she said after packing and picked up the box.
"Oh really?". "Never knew that 'jerk' had a company", I said shockingly whisphering the last part so she wouldn't hear.
Whatever! He's still not even close to my type.

Two hours later
We are in the plane heading towards New Jersey and to say I was shocked was an understatement. Here in the case I thought we would be in a very long queue waiting to catch our flight and share seats with noisy people. No, that wasn't the case and I thank God for that.
Guess what?
Mr Annoying owns a private jet which looks extraordinary and...just perfect. I was in awe when I set eyes on it with the outer design and logo written boldly in black and gold as J.E Airlines
No, this isn't his. I keep telling myself. How come a common waiter like him would own a private jet like this.
Maybe this might be one of dad's private flights. But,I knew the written abbreviations of all of my dad's privates and never came across the one with the abbreviation J.E Airways. I know my dad very well and he never fails to introduce to me when he buys a new private jet.
"Hello Good morning ma'am, welcome to J.E Airways. " I'm Kelley, your flight attendant for today". "Here's your menu and what would you like to take first ma'am?.
"Water". " Just, water".
"Ok , anything else ma'am?", Kelly asked again which ended him a glare from me.
"Did you really hear what I said? Or are you deaf?! "Get out of here!
"I'm sorry ma'am, I'll be back.
"If you like don't come back. I said dismissing him off then putting on a pair of ear buds listening to Rihanna's "Work" song in blast.

I was right behind Valeria when she yelled at the flight attendant but decided not to intervene into their conversation.
Nate was fast asleep on my laps while Lillian was engrossed into typing something relating to work on her Apple laptop.
We were on our way to New Jersey, my home . I checked the time on my Rolex watch .
Three hours left to arrive.
"Hello Good morning sir, what would you like to take sir", asked Ivory the air hostess.
"I'd like to take just a cup of warm chamomile tea", I said with a nod.
"Uh sir?
"Yes? ,I responded looking at her.
"Do you need some help? You know with the little kid... I mean can I reposition the seat into a laying state so you can put him on it?",Ivory said
"Uh..nevermind I'll take care of him myself ,thank you". "Please go get me a cup of warm chamomile tea".
"Sure thing sir",she said a little bit disappointed that I rejected
her offer.
"And Ivory?". I called her back.
"Has our new guest been served already", I said pointing to Valeria's direction.
"No sir". "She requested for a glass of water but rejected it earlier on,says she doesn't want anything", Ivory said.
As if! This lady is very stubborn!
"Really? Do ask her again in few minutes time". What about my sister, has she taken in anything yet?
"Yes please I'll do that. Your sister took some coffee and pancakes just now",she said with a smile.
"Alright thanks". I nodded as a sign to say she can go ahead.
I repositioned the seat into a laying state and carefully placed a sleeping Nate on it so he can feel comfortable. One thing you don't know, Nate is a very heavy sleeper.
I sipped a little of my chamomile tea as soon as it was being served while typing a quick message to Kevin, telling him we're on our way.
Kevin: glad you're on your way bro. Your old lady's skinning me alive right now.
Me: Whatever. Just let her know we're on our way.
Kevin: we? Whom are you bringing along?
Me: Lillian and Nate of course!.
Then there's someone coming along with us too.
Kevin:woah? U got a girl coming?
Are you bringing along Valeria?
Me: She's not my girl and will never be!
Kevin: Chill man. Who knows if you'd get attracted to her somewhere later? U better get wild before it's too late.
Me: Enough!. U better stop ranting . Make sure u don't do anything stupid when we get there.
I immediately turned off my phone as soon as I hit the send button,not wanting to read anymore of his messages. I hate it when he teases me concerning my love life.
"Will you shut the hell up!!". " Where's the mineral water I ordered for?, A voice which sounded familiar suddenly yelled from nowhere.
What the hell Valeria?
I looked at the sleeping form of Nate to see if he was disturbed by the voice and was ready to cook him back to sleep but he only frowned and shifted back to sleep .
Oh thank geez!
I sighed softly in relief glad that he wasn't awake inpromtu . I wouldn't know what else to do if he cries defeatedly. I stood up gently heading towards where Valeria is seated to find her reining insults on my flight attendant in charge.
"Are you crazy? What kind of water did you bring me??!.
"Do you think I take any kind of water in my system?
What nonsense?
"I'm sorry ma'am but you didn't
specify the kind that you want", said the flight attendant.
"Did you ever ask? What nonsense! "You aren't fit for your job . "Who in their right senses employed you for this position?! ", I heard Valeria yell again.
Then there was silence.
I stood beside where she was seated without her recognizing my presence .
"I'm the one who got her employed ". "What's going on here?
I asked in professional kind of way looking at the flight attendant for any problem caused.
