"Holy- Holy shit!" Yuto screamed as his arm was almost completely bitten through as blood from his arm scattered all over him again. Yuto couldn't move his arm since it was being completely shattered seconds away from his elbow.
That's when the Monster just stopped and looked at Yuto with a smirk. That's when he grabbed the already torn, and bitten-down arm and started to slowly twist. Blood dripping, arm burning, mark leaving bite into his arm now.
"Die! Die already! You know you want to die, Yuto! Do it for yourself! You don't want to feel this pain anymore!" Yuto kept repeating to himself, that he was okay and that he is fine. Soon enough The Monster stopped and giggled again as he pushed Yuto on his back forcing Yuto to stare at him.
The Monster got its nail and slowly cut a circle in Yuto's stomach making blood slowly trickle like a leaky faucet, dropping down on the bathroom floor. Yuto couldn't even scream as he felt his breathing was thick and fast, each breath feeling harder than the last.
"Vision. My vision." Yuto tried to keep saying as the monster then started to slowly lick Yuto's leg with its prickly tongue leaving small marks on his leg.
"Sto- Stop." the Monster looked at Yuto and giggled even before turning its head and taking a chomp at Yuto's leg making him scream in more pain.
The bite didn't go further than the quads as he only bit so much into the leg making Yuto scream in pain as the monster covered Yuto's mouth. Yuto screams we're no hardly heard as The Monster put a finger towards his mouth before grabbing one of Yuto's fingers.
Yuto questioned if the monster was smart enough to tell him to be quiet or if it was all just convenient timing. Either way, Yuto knew it didn't matter because he saw himself as more than dead and questioned after losing all this blood how he is still alive.
Then like a wooden twig the Monster snapped Yuto's ring finger making a bone-popping sound throughout the darkness making The Monster start to giggle again and making Yuto scream even louder. Yuto didn't think he could scream anymore but here he was screaming more than ever before.
The Monster then started to squeeze Yuto's neck, holding it so hard that Yuto couldn't breathe. The lack of blood. The countless bones being shattered or popped and the amount of screaming and blood loss made Yuto give in to the slow death he was having as he could feel the lack of oxygen and squirmed and struggled to get more.
Yuto then looked at the Monster's face... still smug and as evil as before. However, what Yuto saw that wasn't there before was a huge blade stabbed right through the monster's face. As the grip on his neck loosened and Yuto slowly slid his body down. What You didn't realize was he could see. Yuto then just slid down and passed out.
...
In a sweat, Yuto woke up. As someone hit him with a brick in his head a massive headache came over Yuto and he started to feel his shortness of breath. Badges all over his body feeling tight but oddly healing. However, the rest of his body felt like knives constantly stabbing him over and over again.
"Where am I?"
Yuto looked around to see two old and rusted with blood giant, gray rocks that made a cone shape with each rock leaning on each other. In front of that was a leaf door that seemed to be made from the plants from earlier. It also reeked like a pile of dead rats we're in the corner decaying with their eyes popping and oozing out and their lives slowly drifting away.
"You're able to talk?"
That's when the plant-made door opened to reveal a teenager.
"Wh-"
"Don't ask me stupid questions. You can ask it now..."
"Who are you."
"The man who saved your life."
"Wh-"
That's when Yuto's eyes closed as he fell back into a sleep.
"You seemed to be a confused one. You have a lot to learn. A lot I'm not going to tell you."
...
"Alright. You have enough time to doze. Wake up. I don't have all day. I want you to answer some questions."
Yuto then shot up and looked at his limbs to see none were damaged.
"You looked surprised. I wasted a lot on you and risked my life so you better start talking."
"Where am I!?"
"This guy... You're in The Darken Plain."
"Darken Plain?"
"THE Darken Plain." The teen said making an enthesis on the word the.
"What does that mean?"
"You're basically dead."
"What!?"
"You're basically dead."
"Why!?"
"There's only monsters and darkness down here."
"Why!?"
"Don't ask why. That's how things are. We're rejects. People who are deemed weak to society."
"So we're basically dead?"
"Exactly! However, recently these last two years. Everyone has been trying to live down here."
"So what?"
"There's a chance. A slight one."
"I want to... Find that chance that is."
"You didn't have a choice. You're under my group now."
"Group?"
"Yes. Turns out monsters aren't the only scary thing about being down here."
"What does that mean?"
"Anddd you're out of answers."
"What!?"
"Yeah. You should be happy, before you reawaken I wasn't going to give you any."
"Why!?"
"Well, that's because it's more fun that way."
"If I accept your offer... Can I ask one more question?"
"Sure. Why not? What can really go wrong?"
"Why are you so smart? Shouldn't you be just as confused as I am? Do you just have a book or something?"
The man looked up with a face that Yuto couldn't read. Embarrassment? Confusion? Fear? One thing is for sure, it wasn't sarcasm or anger.
"I'm smart because I had to be smart."
Time stood still when The man said that, it felt awkward and out of character.
That's right... You would need to be very smart to live down here, was all that flowed through Yuto's mind.
