Chereads / so lucky you came / Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

The next day, returning to Kasem company also felt much more comfortable. Work is inherently a loop from day to day, only the thrilling stories come from everyone is different. At lunchtime, because they promised to take the children to eat, they moved together from the company to the restaurant. Ironically, a customer came and asked to see Kasem. This is a regular customer of the company when it comes to the audit period. I don't know what this guest means, but he always comes to Kasem about matters that are both work-related and not so much that Kasem wants to refuse to meet but is afraid. Due to being busy with the hotel project, Kasem forgot about this guest. Lya also mentioned that every time Kasem didn't come to the company, she wanted to come to the house to find him, but Kasem didn't pay much attention. Just like that, Kasem received this "gut" customer for an hour, looking at the hungry junior's face but still trying to wait for Kasem. As soon as he walked down the corporate lobby, another familiar figure that had been bothering Kasem for more than a month appeared again.

-Veera: Can I borrow your boss this afternoon?

-Kasem: I'm going to have dinner with them, we'll talk later. (Kasem said with dodging)

-Sam: Never mind, just take him, we can take care of ourselves.

-Kasem: Sam, why are you selling me out like that.

-Sam: I'm scared enough to see your face, I'll go and see.

-Veera: Then I'm sorry, let's go!

-Sam: He seems very polite and respectful to Mr. Kasem.

-Ken: The temperament is both like a Mafia but like a boss.

-Diny: Tell us about movies, but Ken seems to be more passionate than us.

-Gin: Everyone, I've been waiting for that guest all afternoon, now I still have to wait.

-Lya: Let's go, go to work.

And then this afternoon, instead of going out to eat with his juniors, Kasem went to eat with Veera. From the collected documents, Veera knew Kasem's hobbies and took Kasem to a Japanese restaurant.

-Kasem: How do you know? (Kasem was a little surprised)

-Veera: If you want to pursue someone, you will have to make an effort to find out everything about that person.

-Kasem: Find out? For love or for "taste"? How serious are you?

Veera didn't answer, just smiled and brought Kasem inside. He didn't choose the food, but let Kasem choose what Kasem wanted.

-Kasem: So working so hard, what do you want?

-Veera: I told you, I want to go after you. I think I made it clear from the beginning.

-Kasem: You know me well, but I know nothing about you. Work? Character? Family? Then the relationships?

-Veera: You're starting to notice me too, that's why you're wondering.

-Kasem: Regardless, I don't really care. (Kasem said with a nonchalant face)

-Veera: If you want to forget someone, then why not give yourself a chance to open up to new people.

-Kasem: Forget it this way?

-Veera: Won't you give me a chance to prove it?

-Kasem: Getting acquainted with the Mafia? I don't think I'm that crazy.

-Veera: Why do you think so? What do you think about the Mafia?

-Kasem: Cold-blooded, likes to threaten, do illegal things... that kind of thing and you are that role model.

-Veera: If so, if you want, I can appear in a different way. And when you learn about me, you'll see that I'm not what you think I am.

-Kasem: Am I that important? Enough for him to change.

-Veera: You should know, I never cared about anyone, wanted to know anyone like that, except you.

-Kasem: So what do you want me to do?

-Veera: Move in with me because I want to see you every day.

-Kasem: As?

-Veera: Any position you want, as long as you feel comfortable. Let me know when you're ready. I will come directly to pick you up

-Kasem: You come to my company every day, otherwise you'll call like that, aren't you bored?

-Veera: Seeing you like this every day is not enough for me.

-Kasem: Then you will quickly get bored.

-Veera: Then give it a try, I'll show you. I won't get bored with you like you think.

Just like that, Kasem actually accepted the offer to stay with Veera. He arranged everything like making sure Kasem would get there anyway as Veera planned. As Veera said, he didn't want to force Kasem, so Kasem started living and living in a room next to Veera's when he moved in. The house does not look decorated with too many modern things but is still fully equipped, the colors create a cozy space. Veera looks cold but his choices are warm, but also full of authority.

-Kasem: Are you living separately? That way, you're not alone, you don't want to go home, you want to tease bees and butterflies.

-Veera: So who do you live with in that apartment?

- Kasem: No. But I don't feel lonely either.

-Veera: Then how do you know, I often tease flowers and butterflies. What if I'm not? (Veera seems to want to tease Kasem)

-Kasem: I don't know, I just see you like that.

-Veera: If it was before, I would really find someone to confide in. But now that I have you, I won't have to search anymore.

-Kasem: I hope you soon get bored and let me go.

-Veera: Then make me not bored with you.

-Kasem: Is it that you didn't understand or did it on purpose.

It was late, Kasem was about to go to sleep when he heard a knock on the door. Step closer to the door, open it and Veera comes closer

-Veera: I'm out on business, if I need anything, I call Aunt Nahm or my juniors.

-Kasem: It's so late, but you're still out? If it's not necessary, take a break early.

-Veera: Are you worried about me?

-Kasem: No, I just happened to say that. Go carefully.

-Veera: Then you take a break, tomorrow I will introduce you to everyone so you can get acquainted.

Before leaving, Veera kissed Kasem on the forehead and left. After not seeing him, Kasem closed the door and buried herself in the blanket. For the first time, Kasem received a stranger so quickly, but Kasem also panicked when he didn't know anything about him. Kasem sensed Veera's straightforwardness and determination.

Waking up in a strange house, but Kasem wasn't upset. After bathing and changing, Kasem went downstairs, an elderly woman invited Kasem to the table to enjoy breakfast. But Kasem still didn't see Veera appear. As if understanding Kasem's concern, the aunt replied

-Di Nahm: Mr. Veera hasn't come back from work, Mr. Kasem has to eat first.

-Kasem: Is he like that every day? When will he come back?

-Aunt Nahm: It's okay, Mr. Veera rarely comes home. So I don't know if he's coming back today or not.

Without letting Kasem ask any more questions, she immediately withdrew to do other work. That's right, Kasem is a stranger so he can't say much. The reason Veera had to go out last night was because his rival in the hotel bid had caused a commotion. To reduce Veera's focus on the project, Danel hired people to go to the bar to smash, fight and cause riots, causing a lot of damage and attracting the attention of the police in that area. Veera personally came to inspect the damage, and reduce the attention of the police. At noon Veera returned, probably because he hadn't slept yet, so he looked quite tired. Although he had partially solved the problem of the bar, the work did not stop there, he entered the office to continue the project of buying a hotel. Not wanting to disturb Veera, but Kasem is worried about Veera's health because Veera hasn't eaten since last night.

Cup…cup…cup… knocking on the door

Veera: Who?

-Kasem: It's me.

-Veera: Come on in... What's wrong with me?

-Kasem: You haven't eaten since last night, right?

-Veera: I'm not hungry either so don't worry.

-Kasem: Now you may not see a problem but if you don't eat and drink like that, your stomach will hurt. (Kasem worries about Veera's irresponsibility to health)

-Veera: Ok, it's almost lunch time, I'll come down to eat with you later.

-Kasem: There is a small bowl of soup and some fruit here, you have to eat before dinner. So I went out to let him work. Remember to eat them.

After noon, Kasem still didn't see Veera coming down to eat, so he called again. According to learned courtesy, Kasem knocked on the door of his office

Veera: Who?

Kasem: I'm here. Can I come in?

-Veera: Come in. Haven't you gone to sleep yet?

-Kasem: It's past noon, you still don't want to eat? If that's the case, you'll get sick.

-Veera: The food you brought, I already ate. Just a little more and the job will be done

-Kasem: Then I will bring it to you.

Contrary to Kasem's excitement, Veera remained silent, his eyes narrowed, focused on the pile of documents on the computer screen. Seeing the silence, Kasem decided to go down to get some food to bring to Veera but was quickly pulled back by the arm.

-Veera: Can you give me a hug?

-Kasem: Huh, then why are you asking me? If you are tired, rest. You don't have to get down, I'll help you bring it up.

-Veera: Don't mind it. Come on, let's go down together.

Veera buried her face in Kasem's chest, hugging Kasem for a moment. Then Veera and Kasem have lunch and then Veera goes back to work.

-Kasem: Do you continue to work?

Veera: That's right! What's wrong with me?

-Kasem: You work like that every day, don't you feel overwhelmed?

-Veera: It's not always so much work. But this time no matter how much, I have to do it.

-Kasem: So if I can help, you can call.

-Veera: Go on vacation, I'll find you when I'm done.

After dinner, Veera calls everyone and introduces Kasem to everyone.

-Veera: This is Kasem, he is here as everyone's new master and my lover. His words are also my command, take care of him to the best of your ability.

-Kasem: I'm not difficult, everyone is comfortable. I'm new here, so if there's anything to note or suggest, just say it. I'll notice

-Veera: There are no rules in the house, you just do what you like.

Everyone introduced Kasem in turn, and then a young girl took Kasem on a tour of every place inside and outside the house. When Kasem turned to see Aunt Nahm with a young man beside them, they seemed to be talking about something and Aunt Nahm hurriedly thanked her. When Kasem saw Veera going up to his room, Kasem curiously ran after him.

-Veera: You don't need to run, be careful not to fall. I will tell you

-Kasem: How did you know I would ask?

-Veera: Atid is aunt Nahm's nephew, his parents are divorced, he lives with his father and aunt Nahm. Aunt Nahm works here to earn money to pay off debts, Atid's father is addicted to gambling and drinking, so now he is heavily in debt, so he runs away to leave the boy. Aunt Nahm begs the boy to stay with her.

-Kasem: So what will you do next?

-Veera: I let him stay and take care of him.

Kasem: Why did you decide to do that?

-Veera: I'm an orphan so I understand that feeling, seeing such a scene I can't stand so I can't help but help.

-Kasem: Hey, I didn't mean to mention that. (Kasem is a little scared)

-Veera: It's okay, I didn't notice. But if you want to compensate then I accept. You should gradually learn about me.

Without giving Kasem time to react, Veera pulled Kasem back to the bed and hugged Kasem. No matter how Kasem protested, Veera did not give up. Kasem gave in to his gentle gaze, agreeing to share a room with Veera.

-Kasem: This is your room, not mine.

-Veera: I'm wherever I want. But sleep with me tonight.

-Kasem: Only tonight I will give in to you.

Veera had worked all day, so he was very tired and just wanted to hug Kasem and sleep. Kasem sensed Veera's fatigue so he obediently lay in Veera's arms. Kasem has begun to get used to the scent of the person lying next to him and is indispensable. And Kasem himself could not have known that he would no longer sleep alone from that night.
