Chapter 1 - How it all started

It was in 2019, during the Christmas holidays. I went out with my family to enjoy it. After reaching the Kivu Marina hotel, we made a command. My mom asks me, "What are we going to do while we are waiting for our command to be ready? I proposed that we share our experiences from the year we were in as it comes to a close so that we can figure out what went wrong and decide how to improve in the coming year. My mom was the first one to share the experiences. After a few minutes, my phone rang. I went out to get it. It was Cynthia, one of my friends, who was calling me, but I reached her and the call had already ended. I received a message from her which was this:

"Hello my friend,

I am writing this message to wish you a Merry Christmas. May this day bring blessings into your life. You know, I like you, and you are my role model due to your advice. I really appreciate it. If you get a chance, let me know because I hope we can go out tomorrow to celebrate Boxing Day with our friends, and you know that it is also my birthday. I would appreciate it if you were there.

Keep enjoying with your family!"

It was really a beautiful message, which I received that day in the morning. I felt like an important person in one's life. I quickly returned to where my family was sitting. I started to stare in a bad way where everyone started to ask me what happened to you. Normally, I was hungry, but there was nobody to recognize that. I could not even tell him or her that I was hungry when my little sister did not suggest that, as she is the one who is young and the one who can cry by complaining that she is hungry. So, I thought that if I told them about my hunger, they would laugh at me. Then I decided to lie to them by telling them that I had received a bad message and that was why I am in that state.

After that, I saw a waiter bringing our order and I started to laugh without a reason. Each dish contained a leg of chicken, chips, salad, and rice, together with a drink. I started to eat without first praying for God to bless the meals. They were delicious at most. After finishing eating, I got up to take pictures, but there was no one to take pictures for me. I walked around searching for a person to take a photo of for me. By chance, I saw a boy who was waiting sat in front of the car. I immediately go to him to ask for help.

"Hello?"

He replied, "Hello!"

"Can you take photos of me if there is no problem?" I suggested.

"Ooh! "Yes, there is no problem.

I gave him my phone and he took many photos, which I did not expect. He asks me to take a selfie with him if there is no problem. I agreed, and we took it.

He asked me to give him my phone number so that I could give him those photos we took together. I gave it to him, but I asked him what he was doing there.

"I am waiting for my sister to come. I have to leave her at home," he replied.

"Ok! Thank you for helping me. Nice to meet you!"

"Nice to meet you too".

I said goodbye to him and I left.

I returned to where my family was and we decided to leave too. Truly, in my heart, I felt like I had found my prince. That boy was cool, humble, handsome, kind, bright, docile, and more. Nothing else was on my mind but wishing we could meet again, wishing he could call me and we knew each other, and hoping he didn't have a girlfriend. I know it was a crazy feeling to have on someone when you met for the first time, even at first sight, without knowing his behavior.
