Feng Yongrui considered the choices for a while and wondered if he could choose more than one answer. What if he picked two choices?
Feng Yongrui clicked the second and third choices simultaneously and turned pale.
Uh-oh. He meant to pick the first and second choices!
As soon as Feng Yongrui picked his choices, the two men in the room returned to normal. The man in front of Feng Yongrui, who was most likely the guild leader of Enigma, walked closer to him.
Feng Yongrui felt his mouth open and he mechanically spat out the words he chose.
"Oh, you must be the leader of the Enigma Guild. You look better than the rumors... Your subordinate is bullying me," Feng Yongrui said without emotion.
When he finished speaking those words, Feng Yongrui finally regained control over his body and blushed profusely. This... this was the System's fault... he didn't mean to say it like this--!
Enigma's guild leader was expressionless, but he couldn't help marveling at this young kid. Was he just fearless... or stupid?
"Boss," the brown haired man sitting beside Feng Yongrui regained his senses and trotted over to his Boss.
"Uhh..."
The man's eyes casually swept across his face.
"The kid says you bullied him," he stated as-a-matter-of-factly.
"Boss, this kid's not normal," the man rebutted. He lowered his voice and added, "What if he's a spy?"
The "Boss" stepped forward, stopping only when he was at the edge of Feng Yongrui's bed.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Feng... Lucky," Feng Yongrui replied.
The man nodded his head slowly.
"We found you in our warehouse and brought you here. When you're all healed up, you can leave this place on your own two feet," the man's low voice reverberated across the room.
Not only Feng Yongrui, but the brown haired man also showed his dissatisfaction.
"Boss, how can you just let him go? This person's too weird. It's better if we..." the man made a neck-cutting motion.
Feng Yongrui glared at the brown haired man and turned his eyes to the guild leader.
"Sir, since you helped me, my life is in your hands, right? Let me stay and work for you," he offered.
The man shook his head. "We don't need little kids like you. Although I don't know where you got the information about our warehouse and the fact that I'm the guild leader, that doesn't really make you special. I don't need you."
Feng Yongrui internally screamed. This guild leader just admitted that he was the guild leader? He didn't even bother to hide it or pretend that he wasn't someone else! And... this person didn't seem suspicious of him or start questioning him about how he knew...
This guy was... eccentric.
But, since the guild leader said he didn't need someone like Feng Yongrui, what should he do? Act cute and hope the guild leader would take him in? Make a deal and negotiate? Or should he blackmail this guy?
Feng Yongrui's mind was racing with a thousand thoughts when the man's hand fell on top of his head. Feng Yongrui felt the warmth transmitted from the man's hand and watched dazedly as the man touched his forehead.
"Your fever is gone," the man said.
"Oh..." Feng Yongrui felt embarrassed for no reason and looked at the man sheepishly.
"Last night... did I have a fever? And were you the one who gave me medicine?" Feng Yongrui asked.
The man paused for a split second before nodding.
"Yes. You were burning up last night. Thankfully, we managed to find a doctor in time to treat you. Otherwise, your brain might've been fried because of the heat."
Feng Yongrui's eyes lit up. This was his chance!
"Sir!" Feng Yongrui clasped the man's hand quickly. "You're the savior of my life!"
The man opened his mouth to refuse, but Feng Yongrui was one step ahead of him.
"You just said so yourself, Sir! If you didn't exist, if you didn't come and save me in the nick of time, my brain would've been fried to mush, and I would've had no chance of surviving!" he cried excitedly.
"Since you're the one who pulled me from the throes of death, let me work for you!" Feng Yongrui declared.
"Okay," the man nodded his head in agreement.
"You don't have to worry! I eat very little, I won't be a burden to you! And I absolutely--!" Feng Yongrui's sentence was cut short and he looked at the man incredulously.
"Y-you said yes?" Feng Yongrui asked, his eyes wide open like a fish.
The man nodded his head slowly.
"Ah? Then... thank you, Sir!" Feng Yongrui grinned happily.
The man shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly.
"Ah... what should I call you, Sir?" Feng Yongrui asked.
The man looked down at Feng Yongrui's eyes and a small smile crept through his mouth.
"What do you want to call me?"
Before Feng Yongrui could say "sir", he heard the familiar "Ding~" as a green screen appeared in front of him.
[You have caught the interest of Enigma Guild's infamous guild leader, Inigo Wolf. He is currently asking you to call him by a special name. What will you call him?]
[The Wolf of Wolves, Master of Masters, Killer of the Killed.]
[The infamous notorious incomprehensible gallant oppressor.]
[My wonderfully omnipotent legendary father.]
Feng Yongrui... looked at the three choices and read it 5 times before making sure that the choices were, indeed, as ridiculous as they looked. Why were these choices... harder than a multiple choice question in school?!
Feng Yongrui's lower lip trembled as he looked at all three choices. He tried to eliminate one choice, hoping to choose the least ridiculous one out of the three choices, but Feng Yongrui came to a sad realization.
All three choices were ridiculous. He couldn't choose one.
"Ha..." Feng Yongrui sighed loudly. Thankfully, whenever he had to make a choice like this, time would stop. If time continued to tick slowly and he was gaping and frowning in front of the Guild Leader, wouldn't it be embarrassing?
Feng Yongrui looked at all three choices and gritted his teeth.
Previously when he chose more than one choice, it was okay... So now, he wouldn't make a choice either!
Feng Yongrui stretched out his hand weakly and prayed silently in his heart. He extended three fingers and pressed all three choices at the same time.
Once he made his choice(s), Feng Yongrui lost control of his body and his surroundings returned to normal. He opened his mouth, and, just like before, mechanically spoke out the words.
"I could call you 'the Wolf of Wolves, Master of Masters, Killer of the Killed', or, I could call you 'the infamous notorious incomprehensible gallant oppressor', or, I could call you 'My wonderfully omnipotent legendary father'."
Once he finished saying those words, Feng Yongrui regained control of his body and closed his mouth awkwardly. He tried not to notice the incredulous look on the brown man's face. That man had his mouth hanging wide open, as if he had seen a dead fish come back to life and walk on land.
Feng Yongrui took a peek at the Guild Leader's face, but he couldn't see any obvious emotion on the man's face.
...Was the Guild Leader angry? Feng Yongrui chuckled wryly inside his mind. Why wouldn't the Guild Leader get angry? He was given such terrible nicknames... it was normal to get annoyed!
Feng Yongrui clenched his fists tightly. The System said that these "directions" were given directly from the higher ups, but now... it seemed like the higher ups' "directions" weren't helpful at all.
It would be a miracle if he survived today!
No matter, Feng Yongrui comforted himself. Even if he died... at least he died with dignity!
He steeled his face and looked unflinchingly at the Guild Leader.
"Boss..." the brown haired man broke the awkward silence.
"Alright," the Guild Leader opened his mouth.
Feng Yongrui: ???
Alright? Alright with what? Alright, let's chop off his head now?
"You can call me with any of those three names," the Guild Leader spoke.
Feng Yongrui felt like he had heard it wrongly. What? That's it? The Guild Leader was okay with it?
"Understood, Sir," Feng Yongrui muttered. "I mean... Wolf of Wolves, Master of Masters, Killer of the Killed..."
The Guild Leader nodded in satisfaction and even praised Feng Yongrui.
"Good. Dobbin here will take care of you," the man pointed with his chin at the brown haired man.
"When you're healed, come and meet me."
After saying those words, Igino Wolf turned around and exited the room, leaving both Feng Yongrui and Dobbin speechless.
When the two of them regained their senses, Dobbin moved stiffly and sat on the chair. Previously, he had brought a tray inside the room. On the tray there was a brown bread and a block of cheese.
When he first entered the room, the bread was still warm, but because some time had passed, the bread was now cold and hard.
Dobbin gave a long sigh and handed the bread to Feng Yongrui.
"Eat it," he said. "Otherwise, you'll complain to the Boss and tattle about me again."
Feng Yongrui took the bread and noticed how hungry he was. He opened his mouth and took a bite. Although the bread was hard and had gone cold, it was okay.

Feng Yongrui: I'll call the Guild Leader with a normal name right? Something like Mister, or Sir?
Higher Ups: Yes. Which one is better? *shows the choices*
Feng Yongrui: "..."
