The System was startled and hurriedly looked up. Seeing Feng Yongrui squatting next to it, the System sheepishly put the paper away and looked at Feng Yongrui.
"The higher ups said that the mistake that we made this time was really big, and that it affects the entire world," the System said.
"A System and its Host is sent to a world to prevent the world from collapsing, but instead of fixing that world, we simply made it worse. Since we damaged the world so much, the higher ups extracted you from the world straight away, to prevent you from making things worse."
Feng Yongrui nodded his head. That explained why he suddenly collapsed out of nowhere and appeared in this white expanse of nothingness.
"Then what will happen to that world?" Feng Yongrui asked again.
The System-mouse shrugged.
"I'm not sure. Well, the higher ups said they would send someone more experienced to handle that world. That can mean two things, that person could somehow fix the world, or, he/she is given authorization to reset everything."
"Reset everything?" Feng Yongrui was interested.
"Yeah. That means everything in the world will return to the 'starting point', the moment when you haven't interfered with that world at all. In other words, they will turn back time to the moment before you arrived in that world."
"Since it's called a reset, does that mean everyone will lose their memories? I mean, they are going back in time," Feng Yongrui muttered.
"Correct, Host."
Feng Yongrui didn't know what to say. Actually, he was rather sad. Didn't this mean his friends such as Big Bro, Miktor, and Stan, wouldn't remember him?
Talking about Big Bro, when Feng Yongrui had left Xu Chao, he didn't get to say goodbye to any of them. Ah, he didn't even say goodbye to the Phantom Stallions that were he had to take care of! What would happen to Starmane, that cranky one? What about his sweet, obedient Violet?
Feng Yongrui felt a bit sad in his heart -- all of them would forget him...
But, well, maybe it was better that way. After all... his disastrous actions almost made the world collapse. Ahem, this was mainly the System's fault, but he wasn't blameless either...
"Alright," Feng Yongrui sighed. He collected his thoughts and decided to start his punishments.
Feng Yongrui read the first thing on his paper: he had to swing a sword 100,000 times.
Feng Yongrui looked around at the white expanse in front of him and raised an eyebrow. Okay... where was his sword?
"System, I need a sword," Feng Yongrui said.
"Right..."
The System put down the paper that it was reading and clapped its two front paws together. Immediately, a double-edged straight sword appeared in front of Feng Yongrui, floating near him.
Feng Yongrui reached out one hand and grasped the sword with one hand. Feng Yongrui frowned involuntarily. This sword was heavier than he thought it would be.
"Well, I just have to swing this sword 100,000 times, right?" Feng Yongrui did not dilly-dally and swung his sword, randomly creating strikes in the air. After swinging his sword for about thirty seconds, Feng Yongrui nodded his head in satisfaction.
"I think I've swung this thing about 20 times already," he muttered.
Just as he finished speaking, a blue, transparent screen appeared in front of Feng Yongrui. At the top of the page, in large, bold, letters, he saw this writing:
1. Swinging Sword -- 0/100,000
2. Archery -- 0/10,000
Feng Yongrui's attention was fixated on the first line. Zero?! But, didn't he just swing his sword a dozen times or so??
Feng Yongrui wanted to say something, but his words were stopped when he saw the pictures in the blue transparent screen. It was the picture of a man holding a sword and swinging it.
Feng Yongrui immediately understood. He had to follow the picture and swing the sword properly! It would only be counted if he swung the sword properly.
Feng Yongrui adjusted his posture and fixed the way he was holding the sword. Then, he swung the sword downwards in a cutting motion.
"Ding~" Feng Yongrui heard the sound of the notification and smiled.
As expected, in the blue, transparent screen, the first line showed his progress:
1. Swinging Sword -- 1/100,000
Feng Yongrui sighed in relief and continued swinging his sword monotonously. When he had swung the sword 20 times or so, he stopped to catch his breath. His arm was already numb from all that swinging, so he sat down and massaged his arm.
It was at this moment that Feng Yongrui noticed that on his right side, the System-mouse was running on a mice wheel, the kind that hamsters used to run on. The System, no, the mouse's face was filled with annoyance and concentration as it ran faster and faster.
Feng Yongrui suddenly had an urge to bully the System. He stretched out his finger cheekily and poked the mouse, causing the mouse to fall out of the mice wheel and letting out a squeak.
Feng Yongrui wanted to laugh. The System had been turned into a mouse, specifically, a type of domesticated mouse called a fancy mouse. It was the size of his palm, and the mouse's fur was soft to the touch.
When the System fell out of the mice wheel, it turned to glare at Feng Yongrui, making an angry squeak.
"Squeak!! Host, what are you doing?!" the System cried angrily.
Feng Yongrui looked at the mouse's puffed up cheeks and poked it gently.
"If you were a better System, I would've felt sorry for you and petted you a lot," Feng Yongrui admitted.
"It's too bad, you're always bullying me and saying mean stuff to me... So now that you're like this... I can't stop the urge to tease you," Feng Yongrui chuckled.
Seeing the System angrily stomp its hind legs, Feng Yongrui had an idea. He stretched out his hands and picked up the mouse. The System tried to struggle and jump out of his hands, but Feng Yongrui held the mouse firmly but gently in place.
Feng Yongrui stood up, and when the System saw the ground getting further and further away from it, it shrunk its neck and held on tightly to Feng Yongrui's fingers, afraid to fall.
Feng Yongrui smiled and a wicked glint flashed through his eyes. Before the System could react, he stretched his index finger and tickled the mouse all over.
Feng Yongrui heard a series of squeaks and squeals, somewhat similar to the sound of laughter.
"Squeak!! Haha, H-host, squeak!! Stop it! Ahahaha~"
How could he stop? Feng Yongrui decided to use this opportunity to take revenge on the System...

Feng Yongrui's tickling session had long been over, and he was lying on the ground in a daze. He did not know how long he had been inside this white place. Had it been days, weeks, months??
Feng Yongrui didn't know. What he knew was that every single day became more and more monotonous and boring. Every day, he had to swing his sword and practice his archery...
Speaking about archery, this one was even trickier than swinging the sword. Not only did his posture have to be correct, Feng Yongrui had to hit the target right in the middle -- only then, would his progress be recorded.
It was a grueling and tiresome task.
At first, Feng Yongrui took his time doing his punishments. After all, there was no time limit. Whenever he was tired, he would stop swinging his sword or stop practicing his archery.
He would lay down and chat with the System, or bully the System. However, as time passed, he grew more and more bored. In this white space, other than the necessary tools that were needed for his punishments, there was absolutely nothing else.
There was no food, because he never got hungry. There was nothing to entertain him either. In fact, Feng Yongrui was so tired of seeing the white landscape in front of him. He grew more and more impatient and wanted to quickly finish his punishments, so that he could hurry and move on to the next world.
Feng Yongrui looked at the blue screen in front of him and sighed.
1. Sword Swinging -- 94,423/100,000
2. Archery -- 8,543/10,000
...He still had a long way to go.
Feng Yongrui shook his head and dispelled the negative thoughts that were doing in his heart. He could do it, he couldn't give up!

After an indefinite amount of time, Feng Yongrui finally heard the last "Ding~". His body slumped into the ground and looked at the blue screen. He finished his punishments!
"Finally..." he sighed.
"Congratulations, Host," the System nodded its head approvingly.
"Alright, Host, you will transferred to the next world shortly. While waiting, please read the information about the next world," the System said.
"Okay," Feng Yongrui received the information and opened it. When he scanned the contents, Feng Yongrui's eyes widened.
This... what kind of world was this?!
***
Feng Yongrui: Muahahaha! System, I can finally have revenge on you~! *vigorously tickling the System-mouse*
System/mouse: (〒﹏〒) Have mercy on me, wuwuwu~
