The next morning, Chen Longfei received two reports. The first one was from Feng Yongrui, which Chen Longfei didn't open right away. The second one was the one he had been waiting for all night.
The letter from the Jade Blade.
Chen Longfei felt his heart beating with trepidation as he thought about the result. He felt a sense of trepidation and excitement, something that he rarely felt...
Chen Longfei opened the letter and scanned its contents. His breath hitched and he almost dropped the paper.
Feng Yongrui... Feng Yongrui was alive and well!
Chen Longfei felt his heart thundering against his chest. He stood up abruptly and ran to tell his mother the news.
When Chen Longfei's mother heard about the Jade Blade's letter, she was initially excited, and then her face grew serious.
"Since this person is a Nephilim, we should proceed with caution," she muttered.
Her face was serious as she looked at her son.
"A Nephilim isn't like any other being out there. Their strength is beyond our understanding... Maybe you should tell the Jade Blade to stop monitoring 'Feng Yongrui'. After all, he is a Nephilim. If he finds out he's being monitored and he gets angry..." she trailed off.
Chen Longfei nodded his head quickly.
"I understand, mother," he replied, his expression was grave.
After telling the Jade Blade to return and stop monitoring Feng Yongrui, Chen Longfei remembered that he still hadn't read the letter from 'Feng Yongrui'. Chen Longfei went to his desk and took out Feng Yongrui's letter. He scanned the contents of the letter and raised an eyebrow.
Feng Yongrui had told him that there was a spy from the Cloud Realm, and Feng Yongrui asked him what to do with this spy. Should he kill this spy, work with him, get rid of him, or just ignore him?
Chen Longfei sat down and penned down a reply. It was only four words, but those words carried a deep and grave meaning.
"Get rid of him."

When Feng Yongrui received Chen Longfei's letter, he was actually in the middle of brushing Starmane's mane. Starmane was rather fussy and bad-tempered, so Feng Yongrui quickly grabbed the letter and continued brushing Starmane instead of reading the letter.
It was only late at night that Feng Yongrui remembered that his Boss had sent him a letter. When Feng Yongrui opened the paper and read the four words, his face darkened.
He had to get rid of Jin Ling! How...?
Feng Yongrui thought for a long time and couldn't help feeling uneasy. Even if this Jin Ling was his rival, he was, after all, someone from the Cloud Realm. Was it necessary to kill him? Feng Yongrui couldn't help feeling hesitant.
After mulling over the matter for some time, Feng Yongrui decided to ask his Boss about it one more time.
[Should we really kill him?] Feng Yongrui wrote. [After all, he is from the Cloud Realm...]
After adding a few more words, Feng Yongrui sent the letter and waited patiently for a reply.

When Chen Longfei received the letter, he gave a soft sigh. The Nephilim were said to be strong, intelligent, and extremely powerful. But this particular Nephilim was naive, (a little bit) stupid, and too softhearted.
So what if this 'Jin Ling' guy was from the Cloud Realm? Just get rid of him!
Chen Longfei paused. Although this 'Feng Yongrui' was a Nephilim, he was too softhearted... Maybe it would be better if he didn't tell Feng Yongrui to kill Jin Ling directly...

Feng Yongrui had been waiting for quite some time, and he almost fell asleep when he realized that a piece of paper was floating in front of him. It was a letter from his Boss!
Feng Yongrui was roused awake almost immediately. He grabbed the paper and read the contents. His Boss told him that even if Jin Ling was from the Cloud Realm, so what? It didn't matter where he came from.
The point was, he was a spy and he was their enemy. The Boss told Feng Yongrui to expose this person's identity as a spy so that Xu Chao would handle him. Also, the Boss added, it would be better if Feng Yongrui exposed Jin Ling's identity while also telling Xu Chao that it was him who helped Xu Chao.
After all, they wanted Xu Chao to trust them and eventually work with them.
After Feng Yongrui read the letter, he fell into deep thought, concocting a plan inside his head.

Several days later, Xu Chao had just finished working when he returned to his room. There was a piece of paper on his bed. Xu Chao frowned -- which ignorant servant put that paper on his bed?
Xu Chao approached the bed and suddenly halted, because the paper had flown towards his face!
Xu Chao became vigilant almost immediately. Who was this?! Who sent this paper? Was there an assassin in the room?
However, after probing his surroundings for some time, Xu Chao did not find anything. He calmed down and looked at the paper, feeling complicated. Why did this paper give him a sense of deja-vu?
Xu Chao grabbed the piece of paper and read its contents.
[Tomorrow, I will help you clean up your mansion from the rats.]
At the bottom of the paper, there was a small cloud picture. Xu Chao's expression turned grave. It was that person again!
Xu Chao summoned Lei Bei to his room to talk. Speaking about Lei Bei, Xu Chao couldn't help thinking about that day when Lei Bei returned.
Lei Bei had flown into the mansion, his body ridden with wounds, while stuttering and telling Xu Chao that Lilith planned to frame him. After calming Lei Bei down, Xu Chao listened to everything that Lei Bei had to say and wanted to raise his eyebrows.
Lei Bei had found out about Lilith's plan to frame him and came rushing to warn him... But Xu Chao already knew about this because of the mysterious letter with the cloud symbol.
When Xu Chao told Lei Bei that everything was fine, Lei Bei was dumbfounded. Xu Chao would never forget that look on Lei Bei's face that looked like he had been cheated.
After that incident, Lei Bei also told Xu Chao that He Yi was Lilith's spy. This was also something that the mysterious letter had mentioned. Xu Chao had already investigated things, so he knew that Lei Bei's words were true.
He had quickly executed He Yi and reinstated Lei Bei as his right hand man. Xu Chao and Lei Bei's relationship was really close. After all, they had been master and servant for so many years.
What Lei Bei said, Xu Chao would believe. Xu Chao wasn't one to hide things from Lei Bei either, so he had told Lei Bei about the mysterious letter with the cloud symbol on it.
When Lei Bei heard about the letter, his face had turned serious, but he did not say anything. At that time, Xu Chao felt that Lei Bei was acting weird. Now...
Xu Chao showed the letter to Lei Bei, who read the contents.
"A rat in our mansion?" he asked, furrowing his brows. "He means there's a spy..."
Xu Chao nodded his head. "What do you think of this letter?" he asked, paying attention to Lei Bei's expression.
Lei Bei paused as his eyes flickered. When he first found out that a mysterious person had told Xu Chao about Lilith's plan, his first thoughts were 'Feng Yongrui'. After all, that person knew about Lilith's plan...
However, it was too bad that he was bound by the Soul Oath. If he didn't have the Soul Oath, he would be able to tell Xu Chao about this matter.
Lei Bei looked at the cloud symbol at the bottom of the paper.
"Feng Yongrui..." he whispered inside his heart. "Just what are you planning?"

The next day, everything went as usual. However, at noon, a blue-robed servant came running into the cafeteria. Since it was lunch time, Feng Yongrui, along with many other servants, were eating their lunch.
Feng Yongrui looked at the servant, who was panting to catch his breath.
"T-there's big news, guys!" the servant said, panting.
Big Brother frowned and looked at the servant. "Calm down and say things clearly. What happened?"
"Jin... Jin Ling has been captured by the Master!" the servant cried.
Murmurs broke through the hall and everyone looked at each other in confusion.
"Why? What did Jin Ling do?" another servant asked.
"I heard that Jin Ling was working as usual... when he suddenly changed shape!" the servant who brought the news explained. "He began writhing and changing... he changed back to his true form!"
"True form?" Big Brother asked. "Say it clearly!"
"Jin Ling... Jin Ling is from the Cloud Realm!" the servant finally yelled.
The cafeteria broke into an uproar. Jin Ling was from the Cloud Realm?!
Apparently, while Jin Ling was working in the accounting department, he suddenly changed from an orc into an immortal, exposing himself. Once the other servants realized that he wasn't from the Phantom Realm, they attacked him.
A scuffle ensued, and somehow, the Master heard the news and came to personally apprehend Jin Ling. Jin Ling had been dragged away to the dungeons, screaming that he was wronged, but no one pitied him.
