"Gege... you want to do what...?" Feng Yongrui asked tentatively.
"I will learn to do origami and sell them at school!" Yin Longshen said once more.
Feng Yongrui gave a long, deep sigh. Why was the protagonist like this? As a protagonist, you shouldn't be thinking like this!
You have to dream big! Achieve big things! Become a business tycoon!
Feng Yongrui's imagination began working at 100 miles an hour as he thought of their future.
Yin Longshen was sitting on a golden chair with origami figures all around him. He wore an origami hat as he sat leisurely on the chair, one leg crossed over the other. His chin rested on one hand as he eyed his subordinates from above.
The other hand was holding a piece of pink origami paper, and Yin Longshen threw the paper down to the floor.
"What did I say about the origami papers?" Yin Longshen's cold, baritone voice echoed through the room.
The subordinates down below were trembling with fear.
"S-sir... Please forgive us..."
"Heh, do you not have ears? I asked, what did I say about origami papers?" Yin Longshen asked again.
A man was trembling all over, but he bravely stepped forward and replied, "Y-you said that... the origami papers have to be made of g-good quality..."
"Exactly," Yin Longshen said. "And what have you given me?"
The subordinates below shuddered and no one dared to reply.
Yin Longshen squinted his eyes and began to speak leisurely.
"How many times do I have to tell you? I built this origami empire from scratch... Ever since I was 11 years old, I used my origami skills to sell them in my school. Now, I have built an origami empire... But if you keep giving me low quality paper like this, how is my empire supposed to grow?"
"Host. Host!" the System broke Feng Yongrui from his thoughts, making Feng Yongrui's daydreams disappear.
"Argh! What 'origami king' am I dreaming about? This is all because of my Gege!" Feng Yongrui complained.
"Host, the protagonist has been asking you a question since just now, but you were lost in thought..." the System told him.
"Sorry, sorry... I was just thinking about something," Feng Yongrui turned to his older brother.
"Gege, what did you ask me?"
"About that... I was asking if you wanted to help me? We'll sell the origami together... How about naming our company with our names? How about... Longrui?" Yin Longshen asked.
Feng Yongrui hurriedly waved his hands and shook his head. The more they talked, the more they were going off track!
"Ge, stop, stop... Actually, I heard that there's a type of job that's really easy and can make you rich quickly," Feng Yongrui said seriously.
Yin Longshen was skeptical. "What are you talking about? Where did you hear this from?" he asked.
"I heard one of the servants mentioning it the other day," Feng Yongrui lied seamlessly.
Yin Longshen paused and gazed sharply at his younger brother.
"Didi... it can't be..." he murmured quietly.
Yin Longshen crawled over to Feng Yongrui's bed and held Feng Yongrui by the shoulders.
Looking at his younger brother dead-straight in the eyes, Yin Longshen spoke seriously. "Didi, you're not keeping any secret from me, are you?" he asked.
Feng Yongrui's heart thumped against his chest and a shudder went through his spine.
"System, don't tell me the protagonist found out I'm not actually a child??" Feng Yongrui panicked.
"H-Host, that can't be it. Calm down, don't panic!" the System said with a childlike, worried voice.
However, Feng Yongrui grew even more anxious when he heard the System's voice. The System told him to calm down, but the System itself was anxious!
"G-ge..." Feng Yongrui looked worriedly at his older brother.
Wait, why did Yin Longshen have such a serious face?
And his aura! His face seemed to be made of ice!
"Ding~ The protagonist's blackening value has reached 17%~" the System said.
Feng Yongrui didn't know whether to be happy or sad. He just wanted someone to tell him, why was his brother acting like this??
"Didi, tell me, where did you hear it from?" Yin Longshen asked in a grave voice.
"Uh... I, I don't remember!" Feng Yongrui said desperately.
"Sigh... Those bastar- I mean those evil guys..." Yin Longshen muttered under his breath.
"Didi, listen to me. No matter what anyone says, don't listen to them, okay? You cannot, absolutely cannot sell your organs for money!" Yin Longshen cried.
Feng Yongrui: ???
Feng Yongrui's brain went into loading mode, while Yin Longshen began rambling on and on.
"I've seen this in movies and comics... The fastest way to get lots of money is by selling your organs in the black market.... Those people must be aiming for Didi's life! How can they do this to a little kid? No way, I have to find out who spread such rumors... If my little brother actually believed it and sold his organs, who knows what will happen to him?!"
Feng Yongrui: I'm not that gullible, you know. =_=
Feng Yongrui was glad his older brother didn't find out about his secret, but this reaction...
"The protagonist really has a good imagination," Feng Yongrui said as his lips twitched.
"...I agree," the System replied.
It took some time, but Feng Yongrui finally managed to calm his older brother and explain that it was all a misunderstanding.
Feng Yongrui told his older brother that he heard that 'coding' was a good source of income. As long as one had a laptop and was smart, he or she could probably do it.
"What's coding?" Yin Longshen tilted his head.
Feng Yongrui didn't know how to explain what it was, so he stared blankly at his older brother. Anyway, he had to pretend not to understand, right?
"Hmm... I'll search for it online... Tomorrow," Yin Longshen said sternly.
"For now, you have to go to bed. I heard that if young children don't get enough sleep, they won't grow taller," Yin Longshen reminded him.
Feng Yongrui sighed. His older brother was really strict. Thankfully, his goal was achieved. As long as Yin Longshen searched for coding classes, he would probably get back on track and embark on the road to becoming a business tycoon.
This time, Feng Yongrui's thoughts were correct. A few days later, Yin Longshen searched for the meaning of 'coding', and he stumbled upon a coding class. Yin Longshen took the class during his spare time and found it extremely interesting.
Everything was going well, just like how it was supposed to in the original timeline. Yin Longshen had tried coding a few times, and he told Feng Yongrui that it was fun.
Feng Yongrui could not understand the string of letters and numbers that formed the code, so whenever Yin Longshen began rambling on and on about coding this and coding that, Feng Yongrui would only listen with one ear. He had no idea what his older brother was learning or doing.
Several months had passed and Yin Longshen had fully immersed himself in the world of codes. Thankfully, he was a responsible person and didn't get addicted to his computer.
Whenever Feng Yongrui needed his help with something, Yin Longshen would be ready to help, even if he was in the middle of something.
As time passed, there were several changes that happened in the Yin mansion. First of all, Feng Yongrui was brought to kindergarten. Zhao Baozhai wanted him to play with kids his age and start learning, so Feng Yongrui could not refuse.
Feng Yongrui actually felt awkward, since he was mentally an adult, and all the children around him were young, but he gradually got used to it.
He just considered it like he was the older brother and the other children in kindergarten were his younger siblings that he had to take care of.
The kindergarten teachers were really nice, and the overall atmosphere was good. Feng Yongrui did his best to act out the 'older brother' role that he had, and the teachers thought he was really cute.
Two years passed uneventfully. Yin Longshen was now a 13 year old boy, while Feng Yongrui was 6 years old. Several things had stayed the same, like the original timeline, but some things had changed too.
During these two years, Yin Longshen and Feng Yongrui were like magnets that stuck together. Ever since he could go to school, Feng Yongrui was able to ride the same car as Yin Longshen when they went to and from school.
After school, the two of them sometimes went out to play together or eat somewhere. Yin Longshen had also made more friends at school.
There were 5 boys that were very close to him, namely Su Liwei, Liao Zihao, Xiang Xing, Xiao Shan, and Ding Wei. The five of them liked to hang out and play with Yin Longshen.
Regarding this matter, Feng Yongrui was really pleased. If he had really pushed Yin Longshen down the stairs, Yin Longshen would become a cripple, become depressed, and he would never had such good friends around him.
Feng Yongrui had the feeling of changing the future for the better, and of course, he was happy. During these years, Zhao Baozhai's attitude towards Yin Longshen had also softened.
Feng Yongrui wasn't sure what had made her change, but she no longer glared openly at Yin Longshen. Of course, Zhao Baozhai didn't change 360 degrees and love Yin Longshen wholeheartedly, but at least she was no longer as hostile as before.
