After a few minutes of exploring and trying this and that, Feng Yongrui finally understood how this skill worked. It would allow him to fly, but not only that, he could float through the walls, floor, and ceiling.
He was just like a real ghost.
The only problem was, he wasn't invisible. If any of the servants saw him floating around like this, just what would their reactions be? Feng Yongrui didn't want to imagine it.
Before he could fly outside or do anything, Feng Yongrui heard footsteps and the familiar voice of the nanny. He quickly landed on the ground and pretended to play with a random toy car.
The door swung open and the nanny entered with a bowl of pureed vegetables. She clicked her tongue as she muttered.
"Oh dear, just what was the master thinking, bringing that child here?"
Feng Yongrui babbled, "Bubu... Abababa..." (Hurry up and tell me where the protagonist is!)
The nanny heaved a long sigh as if she was burdened with a thousand problems. She squatted near Feng Yongrui and patted his head.
"Our poor young master... It seems like someone will try to steal your position in the future... You have to be careful, young master..."
Feng Yongrui: ???
He didn't feel anxious and worried about his position. Nanny, we should be worried about how to make the protagonist blacken instead!
Of course, the nanny had no idea what Feng Yongrui was thinking. She simply fed him his lunch, played with him for a while, and told him it was nap time. Feng Yongrui played along and willingly went to the cot, where he would sleep.
He closed his eyes and pretended to yawn. In reality, his mind was wide awake and he was browsing the System Mall. He had two specific items he had in mind.
The first thing he thought of was something, either an item or a skill, that would make him invisible. The second thing he needed was something that could act as his doppelganger.
The nanny usually stayed by his side, talked to him, and played with him. There was hardly ever a chance when he was alone, so he couldn't sneak out and check on Yin Longshen.
If he had some sort of doll, or if he learnt a spell that could create a doppelganger of himself, it would be really great.
As he browsed through the System Mall, Feng Yongrui finally found what he needed. The first item was a skill that would make you invisible. It cost 50 points.
Actually, there were two ways for Feng Yongrui to buy something. He could either buy it from the System Mall or from the Rewards Section (if it was available). Anything bought from the System Mall could be used only in the world it was bought in.
Whereas anything that was bought from the Rewards Section could be used in any world.
For example, in the first world, Feng Yongrui bought "supervision" from the System Mall. However, now that he was in the second world, he could no longer use that skill. If he wanted to use it again, he would have to buy it again.
Right now, Feng Yongrui was deliberating on whether to buy the invisibility skill from the System Mall or from the Rewards Section.
Feng Yongrui felt that buying this skill from the Rewards Section would be more worth it, since he would be able to use the skill in any world. But the price... was really heart wrenching.
To buy the Invisibility Skill in the Rewards Section (amateur level), Feng Yongrui would have to pay 1,500 points! Feng Yongrui heart hurt when he thought of it...
And that price was just for the amateur level skill. The intermediate, professional, and godly levels were beyond his reach. Feng Yongrui once again felt the pain of being poor.
After deliberating and giving himself some pep talk, Feng Yongrui finally chose to buy the Invisibility Skill from the Rewards Section. Once he made the purchase, Feng Yongrui felt his heart bleeding at the sudden loss of his points.
Now I know what a bank card feels like when it's being swiped constantly...
Feng Yongrui sighed and turned his attention to the doppelganger. He scrolled through the items section in the System Mall and found what he needed. There were three kinds of doppelgangers in the System Mall.
The first one was the simplest kind of doppelganger, it was just like a doll that was similar to him. Unfortunately, this doppelganger could not move or do anything, so it could only lay down and do nothing.
The second doppelganger was able to move and act like Feng Yongrui to a certain extent. It could imitate his crawling, babbling, eating, and so on.
The third doppelganger was the best of its kind. Not only could it imitate Feng Yongrui completely, this doppelganger would also be connected to the user.
This meant Feng Yongrui could issue commands to the doppelganger even if he was far away, and he could even see what the doppelganger was seeing and hearing.
Feng Yongrui heart ached when he saw the prices, but, under the System's persuasion, he finally chose the third kind of doppelganger. It cost him 299 points. Now, he only had 99,773 points.
Feng Yongrui heart was bleeding so badly, but he could only pretend to sleep. The nanny was definitely watching over him, and Feng Yongrui didn't want to attract her attention.
Quietly, Feng Yongrui turned himself invisible, activated the Flying Ghost skill, and placed his doppelganger on the cot. The nanny did not notice anything, so Feng Yongrui was relieved.
Now that he was an "invisible ghost", Feng Yongrui was able to study the nursery room more closely. As a baby who could only crawl, his line of vision was limited, so he didn't realize that the nursery room was actually this big.
After admiring his nursery room for a while, Feng Yongrui glanced one last time at his doppelganger and flew through the door of the nursery. Once he was outside the nursery, Feng Yongrui explored the Yin family mansion.
This mansion was really large and had four floors. The first floor was where the dining room, kitchen, and guest rooms were. There was also a living room and a bathroom.
The second floor was where Yin Qiushan and Zhao Baozhai lived. There were many large bedrooms on the third floor, and there were also rooms where Zhao Baozhai kept her numerous shoes, purses, and makeup. Yin Qiushan's study was also on the second floor.
The third floor was where Feng Yongrui's nursery was located in. There were also a private theater room and a massive library on this floor. Yin Qiushan also had his own fitness room.
On the fourth floor there was a large pool and a Jacuzzi, as well as a large hall that could be used for a banquet or party. Everything inside the mansion was luxurious and screamed of wealth.
But... Where was the protagonist?
Feng Yongrui had already checked the bedrooms on the second floor, but he didn't find any 7-year-old children anywhere... Wait, could he be in one of the guest rooms?
Feng Yongrui flew back to the first floor and checked the guest rooms one by one. When he flew to the last guest room, Feng Yongrui held his breath and slowly flew through the door.
The guest room was dimly lit. There was a large, single bed on the corner of the room and a desk and chair that were left unused. Feng Yongrui noticed a lump on the bed and flew closer.
He was met with a cute seven-year-old boy. It was Yin Longshen!
Yin Longshen had soft, silky black hair and clean features. He had two round black eyes and a pointed nose. Although he was only seven years old, Feng Yongrui could already see how handsome he would be in the future.
"System... so you want me to push this adorable kid down the stairs to make him blacken?" Feng Yongrui asked.
"Host, come on. Don't be so wishy-washy. You must be brave and do what must be done~"
Feng Yongrui: "..."
Yin Longshen had no idea that a "baby ghost" was staring at him. Yin Longshen was staring emptily into space. When his mother died, he thought his life would turn miserable.
Their family wasn't very rich, and they had a few debts because of his mother's medical bills. Although Yin Longshen didn't have a clear concept on money, he knew that they owed people a lot of money.
He was even prepared to become homeless.
He never expected to meet his father, and even get a stepmother. Although it seemed like his stepmother didn't like him very much, Yin Longshen was okay with it.
They were family now. No matter what, family would take care of each other and stick together no matter what, right?
Yin Longshen flopped on the bed and unconsciously smiled.
He heard that he also had a little brother... Yin Longshen had secretly wanted a younger sibling for a very long time now, but he knew that with his mother was too focused on her job, so he never mentioned anything about having a sibling.
Although the people in the mansion didn't seem to like him very much, Yin Longhshen still wanted to do his best and show them that he wasn't a nuisance.
He sighed again. Even this room was very nice... It was even bigger than the dining room in his house... He should consider himself lucky.
POP!
Yin Longshen heard a loud sound and turned his head in surprise. There, floating on the ceiling of his room, there was a little baby smiling at him!
Yin Longshen: !!!

Nanny: The young master is so obedient, taking a nap without making a fuss...
*A certain young master*: Wow! This mansion is huge!

If you could have a large mansion (+ the servants, butler, etc), what would you want to have in your mansion? A large, private library? A personal chef? Art collection?
