So, Abigail woke up by the most usual waking up routine for her for the past three months, one week and five days. I mean the cries of her baby brother, Josh. she never thought that after Madi she will experience this kind of waking up routine again. same mother but different fathers, yes Madi and josh are her half younger siblings. After some minutes of reflecting on her life, seated on the edge of the bed while half asleep, she took a bath and dressed up for school, after heading to her little sister's room.

''Good morning, Abi " she heard halfway to her little sis room and immediately recognized the voice.

"Good morning, Jefrey" she responded, he smiled while pathing her head and worked pass her, obviously heading downstairs.

So, Jefrey is an average looking white man, kindhearted and smart, being Abi's mom co-worker at work, they eventually fell in love. They got married seven years ago after one year of dating. The bought a house together and the three of them eventually moved in together. After few months married, Abi's mom got pregnant and later gave birth to her cute and dramatic little sister madison, with now josh part of the family too. "

Good morning, drama queen "Abi said why entering Madi's room, already amused by how Madi would respond next. "

Get out of my room " Madi said,"So, you're still angry because of that icecream i refused to share with you yesterday " Abi said while trying to not laugh at her sister childish behaviors.

" No but before entering someone's room you should knock " Madi responded with what she thought was an angry voice, but she sounded so cute and could be even cuter if she didn't pass her time acting like a girl in her early stages of puberty Abi thought while smiling.

"OH, excuse me your highness but this elder sister of yours came to help her highness dress up for school at risk of arriving late" Abi said with a mocking smile on her face.

" Thank you but i will do it myself "Madi responded, "As you wish your highness "Abi retorted, just to let her struggle a bit and later on help her and when they finished, they both got down and took a quick breakfast and headed to school with Jefrey dropping them at school with his car after heading to his work. As soon as Jefrey left Abi at school an unknown number called her, had some bad experiences with unknown numbers, she decided to off her phone preventing any unwanted calls and headed to her first class.

" Few months left" she said to herself before entering the classroom and directly went to her seat waiting for the first class of the day to start while scanning the classroom in search her best friend.

As if hearing her thoughts, Talia made her entrance looking at her and smiling with happiness written all over her face. She sat next to Abi and without her even asking she said," Liam comes back on Sunday."

" Wow so he's coming back home in two days " Abi said forcing a smile. Not that she dislikes him or anything, but she used to have a crush on him and on the day, he left to continue his studies abroad after obtaining a scholarship for a prestigious university.

She finally decided to confess at the airport, if it wasn't reciprocal at least she will not have to see him again. At the airport she took him aside, not wanting his grandparents to hear that as Talia already knew. But when she finally gathered her courage and confessed to him, he didn't respond but instead stared at her with what she thought at that time was sadness in his eyes but at that very moment she just told him that she was joking and wished him a good trip and lied saying that that her mom had to go out with Jefrey, and she had to go back quickly to babysit madison but oblivious sadness in her voice, not even waiting for him to respond she started running from what or who ,she herself was already lost.

" Can you come with me on Sunday at the airport to welcome him?" Talia asked her with pleading eyes.

"I don't know, maybe mom will need me, to take care of josh and Madi" Abi responded. Abi of course trying to make an excuse.

" Maybe you don't want to see him yet, it's fine, I understand" she said looking a bit sad.

" Ok fine, I will as..." Abi could not finish as the teacher just entered and then the class started.

Abi ended up rolling her eyes while smiling.
