Luna sneaked back to her room with the siblings. She promised the prisoners under the ship to return and help the rest of them but for now, she can only bring the two without getting caught.
"Lady Luna!" Mira exclaimed as she saw her.
"Yes, I'm back."
Luna introduced the siblings to Mira and asked her to order food for them as they seemed very starving.
"What is your plan? Why you brought us here?" Natan asked.
Although he's grateful for her help, she's still a stranger. He still doesn't know her intention. All he wanted was to save her sister from being sacrificed to the sea monster and returned her to the tribe.
"You mentioned the sea monster before. Can you tell me more about it?"
"Tell me first, are you really going to help us?" Natan asked suspiciously.
"Yes, I already told you. But you have to tell me the information about that sea monster."
Natan paused and look at her sister. Marlowe touched his hand. She looks him in the eyes as if telling him to trust Luna.
Natan sighed.
"It's known that a part of the Acronis ocean is known for the sea monster that sinks ships and eats people. In recent years, treasure hunters discovered a way to appease the monster while they search for gold in the sunken ships underwater. That is to sacrifice people by offering them to the monster. A few years ago, there were reports of missing people in our tribe. My father tasked someone to investigate it and found a connection in slave trading."
"Then the slave traders sold you to the captain? Did the captain tell you were going to be sacrificed?"
"No, the slave trader did. Turns out that they sold slaves to treasure hunters for bait for the monster." Natan answered.
"Do you know the purpose of the captain? Is he a treasure hunter as well?"
"I don't know," Natan answered.
"Then let's find out," Luna said.
Natan gazed at Luna with a complex expression. At first, he saw her as a delicate gorgeous woman from a noble family but she seemed to be too carefree and independent. She acts and talks without modesty and grace.
"So what is your plan? We still have to rescue the people in prison. And once the guard discovered we disappear, they will search the whole ship to bring us back. I can't use my strength to fight as well. They poisoned me and used magic to weaken me."
"Let's kidnap the captain and take over the ship," Luna suggested nonchalantly.
Natan looks at her with annoyance.
"Aren't you listening to me? Or are you just plain stupid? How are you going to fight the crew of this ship and kidnap the captain?"
Luna glared at him but decided to be a little patient for Marlowe.
"I can fight!" Luna exclaimed with confidence.
Natan shook his head with exasperation.
"Is this child's play to you? Can you even hold a dagger without hurting yourself? Do you think you can save people with your words or your looks? Are you capable of fighting or holding a weapon?"
"Of course! I lived in the forest for more than three years. I survived alone and can fight with the monster." She answered.
Natan rolled his eyes, refusing to believe her. He thought she is crazy and it was a wrong idea of believing her. She's pretty but she lacks logic.
"The guard caught you and throw you to prison with us."
"I let that happen."
Natan sneered at her.
"Brother, stop it," Marlowe reprimanded her brother.
She couldn't understand why he was being so terrible to Luna after she helped them. His brother doesn't usually act like this even though he hates the nobles. He would just ignore them.
The food arrived and Natan and Marlowe couldn't help but gulp at the sight of the food.
"Please help yourself," Luna said.
Natan decided to eat as he was starving. If he's going to die, he will consider this his last meal and enjoy it. Marlowe also helps herself and feasts on the food in front of them.
"Thank you, Luna. This food is delicious." Marlowe uttered with teary eyes.
"Are you alright?" Luna asked with concern.
"I just can't help but appreciate the food in front of me after starving for days. They only throw left over at us once a day. It was humiliating. I was a tribal princess but I begged for food to survive." Marlowe said with tears in her eyes.
"I'm so sorry to hear that. It must be hard." Luna said with sympathy in her eyes. She experienced starvation for days too when she first woke up in this world and doesn't know what to do or eat.
"Yes. My brother would give up his share for me and I feel so ashamed and hopeless. I thought we are going to die but you arrived and helped us."
"Don't mention it. But are you really a tribal princess?" Luna asked out of curiosity.
She can see tribal tattoos on her hands and feet. It's fascinating. The character is unfamiliar but similar to tribal tattoos in her previous world. Natan has the same tattoos as well.
"Yes, and my brother will be the next tribal chief. So we have to go back to our home. Our parents will be heartbroken if they thought we died."
"Marlowe, stop sharing our life. She's an outsider." Natan said scolding his little sister.
What is his problem? After I freed him from that prison and fed them, he was still very rude to me.

"What did you find out?" Grey asked.
"The Captain is Moor Warick. A 48-year-old man from the East of Belrus. The captain wanted to kill the monster. I saw a detailed plan in his cabin. His purpose is unknown." Sebastian replied.
Grey sighed.
"Where is the vice-captain?" Grey asked.
"Since the ship departed 7 hours ago, the vice-captain is missing. It's either the captain intentionally leaves him behind or the vice-captain is somewhere in the ship hiding."
"How long before we reach the area of the monster?"
"According to the crew, approximately 8 to 9 hours."
"Position the knights and bring the captain to me," Grey commanded.
