(2 days before the school trip)
Walking down the hallway a beautiful woman with red hair was holding a few papers in her hand as she headed to a certain person's office
Opening the door there was an older looking man who seemed to be In his late twenties, he had black hair and red eyes and was impatiently tapping on his desk
Seeing the lady he quickly looked up
"Have you found anything strange about him yet?" He asked impatiently as he had been waiting for the woman
"No... nothing his past seems normal, he was placed in an orphanage at 13, but then left to go live in a house his parents had left in his name"
The woman replied as she seemed confused why a powerful man like the principal was investigating one of her weakest students
"Why are you so interested in this student? he is low ranking , and has not shown any extraordinary talent, I would actually say he is lacking as at his sparring match he barely beat his opponent"
The woman who was the Crimson Witch and class A-1s homeroom teacher replied
"I got a message from the elf King, he said that we must keep an eye on the student named Cain Stardust, he never gave me a reason so I done a background check because I thought the student would be interesting yet the student turns out to be an ordinary student"
"....*Huuh*..disappointing I thought this kid was something special, and what of this kids friends did you find anything? " The principal replied as he was annoyed at having wasted his time with such a weak student
"He has actually been spotted hanging out with a lot of high ranking students including, Leo, Ray, your daughter, Amy, Kayla and the princess"
"I see... so he is just a low ranked who is leaching off the high rankers, the elves probably told us to get him away from Sarah since he would only be a liability in the future, I want you to keep an eye on his group during the school trip, and let me know whether there is anything special about him" The principal said as he continued his work

Trudging through the sand, Cain was talking to Selena
The reason he was talking to her was because he needed help, he had come up with a plan to make money but to make sure it succeeds he needed a bodyguard, or someone who could intimidate the other students.
"Hah... I see you could probably make thousands of UC if this plan works out well" Selena said as she finished listening to Cains plan
"What do I gain from helping you with this?" She asked as she looked curiously at Cain
"First of all free food and water, and a tent to sleep in at night" Cain said as he already knew she would ask this question
After having left looking for others Cain and Selena hadn't hunted any other monsters, this was because they team had scored 50 points with the earthquake worm, so even if they didn't hunt for the rest of the three days they would still be in the top 10 for the assignment that plus the 16 monsters would put them in the top 3 for the assignment
"I see a group of people" Cain said excitedly as he saw what seemed like 10 human figures in the distance
Getting closer Cain recognized four of the people in the group and just seeing their faces made Cain want to go beat the shit out of all of them
'David,Pickle, Fred and Josephine they must of found this group after they ran away from us, good they'll be the first ones to make me some money'
Arriving at the other group Cain and Selena could notice how surprised the others were that they were unhurt
Looking at the condition of the others Cain could tell that it was not good they all seemed tired and a few were injured
Approaching Cain and Selena a student with Grey hair which was up in a Mohawk and had weird accessories on his body walked up to them
"Hey they told us what you cowards did! " The student said as he looked at Cain and Selena with disgust
"And what is it they say we did?" Cain said in a sarcastic voice as he wondered what they were talking about
"They told us how you two ran away and left them to fight an earthquake worm alone!" the boy shouted as he looked at Cain and Selena as if they were dirt
'Huh.. I shouldn't even be surprised anymore, so first they ran away and left me and Selena to fight the earthquake worm, then they go around lying saying we ran away and they killed the earthquake worm' Cain thought as he quickly analyzed the situation they were in
"First of all are you telling me students in the 1000 ranks could kill an E- rank monster, that obviously doesn't make sense, and second haven't you realized who I am with, I am with the 8th ranked student in our grade and you believe they killed a monster which she ran away from?! "
Cain said as he accurately pointed out how their story made no sense
" Anyways none of this matters, I came here to offer you a deal"Cain said as he got straight to the point he had already gotten annoyed and just wanted to leave soon
"What's the deal" The mohawk headed boy who had been acting like the leader of the group asked
"Well if you give me 200000UC I'll give you guys water and food" Cain said
"What 200000UC that's a complete scam even health potions don't cost that much!, there's no way we would do that" The mohawk headed boy shouted
"So what, are you guys gonna starve, if you guys don't receive any food or water, you guys will keep weakening and soon you guys won't be able to hunt any more monsters and die, if you don't buy from me, you will die" and as Cain said this he smiled he was happy knowing that he would make a lot of money from scamming them
The Mohawk student was surprised his team needed water and food, sure 200000UC was a lot of money but if they could get water and a meal it was worth it
"And what's stopping all 10 of us from just taking the supplies from you" the Mohawk student said as he looked maliciously at Cain
"She is" Cain said as he pointed at Selena, this was the deal he made with her earlier, to make sure people didn't try to steal from him, she would act as his bodyguard in return he fed her and gave her a tent
"Fine, let me first talk to my team" the Mohawk student said as he left
Returning to his team the Mohawk student was having a conversation with them
"What, they have food and water why don't we just take it from them, there is 10 of us and only 2 of them" David who had previously been in Cains team responsed
"Selena"The Mohawk boy said
Quiet... just that name alone had made the hopes of beating up Cain and taking the supplies seem impossible
Having finished up discussing with his team Cain received a notification that he had received 200000UC
Going back to Cain the Mohawk students seemed annoyed
"I paid you now give us our food and water and leave" he said angrily
Taking out a single apple and a small waterbottle from his storage ring Cain handed it to him, with a smug smile on his face
"What is this, we paid you 200000UC,for water and food for all of us" the Mohawk student said as his veins were showing from anger
"What, it's 200000UC for a single meal if your team members want some they could also pay" Cain said
"Let's go" Cain said as him and Selena started walking away
In the background Cain could hear the Mohawk student shouting all kinds of unpleasant swear words at him as he walked away
'Time to go scam some more rich young masters' Cain thought as he went looking for more students
