Whilst Fedyenka was staring at the sky smiling, her heartbeat was getting abnormal. She realized that she made the same mistake she made when she tried tucking her wings. She gnawed her heart once again. She worshipped again. It did not hurt anymore. Someone came clapping their hands. She looked back and could not see anyone. Then she looked forward and saw someone wearing a hoodie.
"Phantom..." said Fedyenka calmly.
"Ahoy...little one." said the man in hoodie whilst slowly taking off his hood.
Fedyenka stared at him with a stern face as she slowly went towards him. She said,
"The fuck you doin' here?"
Phantom was left silent. He lost words to say after hearing Fedyenka's words whilst giving such a serious glimpse.
"I am here to accompany you of course." said Phantom.
"What..." said Fedyenka.
Phantom took off his hoodie. Fedyenka got prepared for a battle. But unexpectedly, Phantom gave the hoodie to Fedyenka and said,
"Take this on. You and I are travel partners from now on. You can call me your sibling if you want to. You have proven your need in my life."
"I never wanted to prove my need in your life I just wanted to know whatever the hell was going on here and look at it, there is nothing..."
"Let me fill you in-"
"At first tell me why and how did you get here?"
"I think you already know that we have been observing you. OUTE's satellite doesn't work here as well as other nine places. I came here to you because it was a part of me and Yuri's plan."
"Just as I thought."
"You are smart I gotta say. Anyway, now let me fill you in. Me and Yuri were planning to let you out of OUTE and disconnect you from them."
"Wait. Yuri, how is he?"
"He is fine. He is waiting for us over there." said Phantom and pointed towards a big tree. Fedyenka did not notice the whole time, the place was beautiful. The rocks were light green. It did not take her long to realize that this is Hawayashumu.
"Wow..." said Fedyenka with an amazed face.
"Pretty eh? By the way, Qiang is there as well." said Phantom.
"Oh..."
"You don't seem even a little bit interested in him yet he has been talking about you since you left."
"It's not that. I am just thinking about something else."
"What is it?"
"You were supposed to fill me in-"
"Yeah right. Since Yuri is a high ranked sage, he convinced the other sages saying that since you are a modified being, you can bring them their desired materials. So they let you out for an expedition saying that it is for your weapon."
"So it was for some other purpose."
"Yes. You didn't know?"
"I guessed but how can I know?"
"Hm..."
"What do they need these jades for?"
"For advanced weapons and technologies. The humans still haven't conquered all places."
"Oh...So...How did you guys get here?"
"I have the key to most things. I know the entrance to three of the ten places. The places are called Decem Inviccuted."
"Ten unconquered...what a name bro."
"You don't seem to have even a little bit seriousness in you. We will face a war remember that."
Out of nowhere someone rushed to Fedyenka. She backed away and pushed the person.
"Come on. I was going to give you a hug." said Yuri. He was not wearing the same apron and glasses. His dress was white with a long train which extended his knee. His ears were covered with some sort of headset.
"You made your train long for styling...Damn pops..." said Fedyenka.
"Aw...did you just call me pops?"
"Yeah!" said Fedyenka with a smiley face.
"You are still a kid. Come here now." said Yuri and pulled her close. After such pain she has gotten, the warmth made her forget about those. Qiang from behind, looked at her as if he was making fun of Fedyenka's childlike behavior. Fedyenka got away from Yuri's arms and stood aside being embarrassed.
"Aw...such an adorable father-daughter scenery!" said Qiang.
"W-where is Ae-Ri?" said Fedyenka.
"Hm? Not satisfied with me? Ae-Ri is where you saw her last time. She does not know about our plans."
"I see..."
Fedyenka was still confused. Seeing her like that, Yuri slapped her.
"Ouch...WHY DID YOU-" before Fedyenka could finish her words, Yuri slapped her again.
"You are still uncertain about your goal after all these?" said Yuri.
"Huh..."
"What do you desire to do? What does your heart say? Don't listen to your unconscious mind. Listen to yourself. Who are you? What do you want?"
"I am...myself...I do not care about my name. I do not know where I came from. I will know them one day. Because I wish to seek the truth of the universe. God and God's creations."
"Now that you know that, what do you wish to do now?"
"I wish to...explore every single place and do what I wanna do."
Phantom glared at her proudly as if she has represented him.
"Great. Now listen to our plan and decide whether you want to side with us or not." said Qiang.
"What's the plan?" said Fedyenka.
"At first, let me fill you in about the history of the past. A long time ago, humans were not the only beings ruling the world. There were many beings. Vampires, Werewolves, Jinns, Janias, Dragons..."
Qiang's voice got psychic the moment he said, 'Dragons'
"They all used to live with peace and harmony after a long war. The war was ended by King Oleg who quickened the whole world with his words. He said that every being deserves a place to call home and that everyone shall get one. If someone opposes, the one shall get perished. Everyone agreed with him, except the human rulers, Twenty Leaders of Humanos Sabios. They planned something else under their sleeves and told the world that they agrees with King Oleg. Years passed...the glorious King Oleg's palace was filled with joy when Princess Fedyenka came to world. Then one day, King Oleg got accused of stealing a relic. There was a grand meeting. In a short time, King Oleg was proven guilty and was burnt into ashes along with Prince Felix and Princess Fedyenka. Their ashes were stored by the sages for some unknown reasons. Then came the era of humans, who conquered the world to what we see today. A beautiful disaster."
"So this OUTE we see today is just the organization made by humans?" said Fedyenka.
" I would say 'greedy humans' if I were you."
"Yeah..."
Fedyenka slowly got flashback of the same blurred memory. It seemed more apparent this time. She could see a woman holding a chain in her hands and herself, wearing a long black and red gown. She could not see the woman's face. The woman was wearing a coat. Getting these flashbacks made Fedyenka feel strange. She grabbed her head tight and screamed in pain, which she could feel all over her body. She was about to fall.
"Fedyenka, you alright?" said Qiang holding her from the back.
Fedyenka pushed him away and said, "I am fine."
Yuri sensed something. He asked,
"Have you gotten anything on your mind recently? Or you have already gotten a lot of things from the very beginning and I did not notice."
"You sound extravagant." said Fedyenka.
"Well thank you now, get to the point."
"No. Nothing like that. Perhaps I was feeling weird because of the thunder strikes."
"Ain't gonna lie, I have never seen anyone getting hit by lighting like that in ages." said Phantom with a smiling face. He seemed to be happy to witness such thing.
"Wow, you are so happy." said Fedyenka with a stern face.
"Heh."
"So, what's the plan?" said Fedyenka with an annoyed face.
"Ahem. Sorry. Let's get this straight, our plan is to destroy the real purpose of OUTE and make the people all over the world to stand as one. Our key here is you and your brother. Phantom has access to most things in this world." said Qiang.
"Woah. That's a grand plan." said Fedyenka with an amazed face.
"That's not all. Our first goal is to somehow assassinate the first and second sage. Second goal is to get the relic, which we cannot accomplish without the first sage so the second goal is pretty much the first. Thirdly-"
Yuri looked at Qiang with the eyes of devil as if he was giving him a death stare before his death.
"Erm...Never mind..." said Qiang and became all silent.
Fedyenka sensed something. She saved up her thoughts for some time later and said,
"Thirdly what?"
"Thirdly, we will arrange your marriage with a lovely kid. Not Qiang of course." said Yuri with his usual sarcastic face.
"I don't want to marry." said Fedyenka.
"Why?"
"Well, I read about it in a book. It is a mere contract indeed but with the simple contract many responsibilities come. I want the truth of the world, which will keep me busy or I might even get enemies on my way. If I am gonna marry someone the person will be my loved one right? And since that person would be my partner, I will naturally bring disasters on both of ours lives."
"That was not certainly the best explanation but you sound fucking rational." said Yuri.
"Alright enough lessons for today. It will get dark soon. We should find a good spot to camp." said Phantom.
They started walking around. The peak was big enough to be called a wood of jades. Phantom seemed to know the place pretty well. In all of a sudden, a beast appeared. The beast had sharp jaw. His body was covered with jades like a Stegosaurus. His skin was black and his eyes were like blue diamonds. He let out a scream and his small wings which looked as if it was designed, waved. Even Phantom seemed startled. He backed away and said,
"Move!"
They kept running and running. Fedyenka had a hunch that Phantom is making them run for some other reason but she did not express that. She kept running with them. Suddenly, they could not see Phantom anymore. They jumped on some trees except Fedyenka. Seeing Fedyenka, the Beast slowly came towards her. Fedyenka got uncertain to whether kill the creature or not. She could not see anyone anymore.
