While the two snake maids were slowly coming toward the Princess, the kitten suddenly turned into a giant tiger which was about ten feet tall. The kitty grabbed Mona and swallowed her first. Moco took her snake form. Her snake form was enough to tell that she hasn't matured enough. It wasn't too big. Even though she could quickly get away in her snake form, the kitten was fast and big enough to catch her. Right at the moment he caught her and bit, she sprayed her venom toward him which burnt his eyes. Moco left being badly injured.
Fedyenka couldn't turn into her bat form at that moment because of her brother so she kept running toward Moco. No matter how fast she ran, she couldn't catch up. With a disappointed face, she came back to the cat who has taken the form of a kitten again. It slowly meowed with pain. Fedyenka took the kitten in her arms and noticed a locket. She could see a small corner of a paper. She tried getting it out. She opened the locket and finally got it out. It was a letter from one of the Twenty Leaders of Humanos Sabios. The Sabio said in the letter,
"When the clock dings for the 24th time in a day, come to the place where they gather horses and hays.
- A Sabio from Twenty Leaders of Humanos Sabios"
It was a simple riddle. Fedyenka looked at the clock and noticed that there are only thirty minutes left before it is twelve at night. She ran fast and caught up with the nearest servant of the palace she could see. She asked the servant a map of the palace. Since the palace is so huge, there's always some spare map for the guests who stay overnight. The servant denied to give her a map because there's been an order from their leaders that no guests are allowed to have maps of the palace. So she just asked for the direction to the medical faculty. The servant led her to it.
The moment she entered she saw a nurse rushing toward her. She stopped and said, "Your Highness, welcome to our medical faculty. I know it might sound rude but has His Highness Prince Felix gone to you Your Highness?"
"There is nothing rude. No, I haven't seen him since he left after being injured, How is he?" said Fedyenka with a calm voice.
"Your Highness, he isn't here! He told us he is going to the bathroom and when it took so long, we, the nurses went to check. We didn't get any answer. Please spare us from any gruesome punishments Your Highness!" said the nurse with a stuttering tone.
"We Vampires aren't predators. Calm down, maybe he has left to get some fresh air. I know my brother, he leaves like this with no words."
"Oh, thank you Your Highness. I'll send someone to call the nurses right away so they won't be worried anymore."
Right at the moment the nurse left, Felix got out of her sister's pocket and slowly went to the bathroom by crawling on the ground so that no one will notice. Then he opened the door of the closed bathroom he was in. When he saw his sister he said,
"I didn't expect to see you here."
"How's your injury, brother?"
Interrupting their conversation, the nurse greeted Felix and pleaded so that he will never leave without any words again as long as he is under their care. Felix nodded and asked for a leave from the faculty. They gave him a paper to take to the Manager of that palace area. He called one of his maids and gave the paper to take it to him. Fedyenka looked at the clock. There were fifteen minutes left. She hurried to the same nurse she saw when she entered the faculty. The nurse warmly asked her if she needed anything or if she is somehow hurt somewhere. Fedyenka replied with a "No" and asked for the direction to the stable. Before leaving she left the kitten with them and told them that she found him lying on the ground in all of a sudden. The nurse gave the kitten to some of her co-ordinates and then started leading Fedyenka. Along the way they had a conversation.
"Your Highness, are you a fond of horses?"
"Yes I am! They are really cute. Especially ponies."
"By the way, may I ask what your name is?"
"Oh why would you be asking? My fault for not telling you Your Highness. It's Bella."
"So it's Bella. You are a really sweet woman."
Bella has never heard such compliment from someone in her life because of the body she has. She has always been a little fat and has small hands and legs. The moment she heard a compliment she was delighted and got a little shy.
"Did I make you feel uncomfortable, Bella?"
"No, Your Highness, I've always been a little shy around people and you flattered me. To think that I'm talking to a princess like this being a lowlife, amazes me. I still cannot believe that a princess like you can exist."
"You are the one who is flattering me. Oh we are almost there it seems. I can see it."
"Yes, Your Highness."
Bella led her to the door of the stable and both of them bids farewell. Bella leaves with a small smile on her face. Fedyenka got inside of it and immediately got questioned by a guard.
"Who are you little miss? Go back to where you have came from" said the guard aggressively.
"Huh...So arrogant when it comes to addressing people. Can you not see my attire? Who could I be?" said Fedyenka while slowly walking around the stable.
"I deeply apologize Your Highness. You are one of the finest guest the palace could ever get! Please have mercy on me. I plead that you don't report it to our superiors."
"Since you have realized what mistake you've made I'll be pitiful on you. Anyway, can you show me around the stable a little? Or, would you mind if I walk around a bit by myself? I know this place is big but I don't think that I'll get lost."
"It would be my honor to show you around Your Highness but I'm afraid that as a guard I cannot do anything outside of my duty right now."
Fedyenka stopped walking and said, "I see."
"But you can surely walk around the stable as you wish Your Highness." said the guard.
"Great! I'll be on my own then." saying this, Fedyenka left the place and started walking again.
While strolling, she saw many horses. Too bad they were asleep. She patted on some of them while they were in deep sleep. Suddenly she notices someone with a black hat and black suit with golden hair. His eyes were blue. The gentleman in a suit was patting on the head of a horse. She approached him.
"Finally you came. Greetings Your Highness. How have you been doing?" said the man in a black suit.
"Greetings Sabio Tenth. I've been doing well even though my father's news have made me very worried recently."
"I cannot see even a little bit of worry on your face Your Highness. Perhaps you should listen to Sabia Third a little. Trusting people isn't so bad."
"Trusting people is indeed great Sabio Tenth. But what have you done so far to make me trust you?"
"I assume you don't know the real news of our meeting yet. Every word Sabia Third has told you were great lies Your Highness."
After hearing that Fedyenka was saying in her mind, "Good that he doesn't know that I eavesdropped"
"Come with me, I will inform you about some trivial matters, Your Highness. Be on your guards though, no one knows if we will get in trouble along the way."
Saying that the gentleman in suit started going. As he goes, Fedyenka started going with him.
