"It's height is intimidating but I feel it looks more like a stick bug… why is it so thin…" A bunch of question marks and LOL's appeared in the chat. "It's not heading in our direction, maybe we can get a closer look. Actually before we do that other than sound, how else do zombies find humans? Smell or what?" All kinds of responses flooded the chat. "You know what I shouldn't have asked. I'll just prepare for everything, I learned how to walk silently to evade my parents' detection when I was a teenager, the combat gear I just bought has some camo, I can't really do anything about touch so all that is left is smell." Chu Yin opened up the gear shop and started scrolling. "My system isn't very intelligent. I can't ask a question and let it suggest items like other systems, and the stupid shops don't have a freaking search bar."
[PlantCooly gifted one point: you're on a magical streaming website no one can do anything to you if you swear.] "Hey PlantCooly, remember when I swore at the internet trolls who almost got me thrown into a 4+ star dimension? Yah the system gave me a warning saying there are minors watching you will be punished if you swear two more times. Oh and I also have this button that says kick all minors just in case something 18+ happens, according to the system 18+ means, rule 34 and killing humans, so killing zombies and monsters aren't 18+ to the systems standards." As the conversation ended Chu Yin finally found the thing he was looking for.
Stealth Perfume
Cost: 5 point
Description: Makes you smell like your surroundings for 1 hour
"This should do." Chu Yin sprayed the perfume all over his body and started walking towards the zombie. The people watching the stream knew the steaming camera picked up audio very well since they could even hear wind but they couldn't hear Chu Yin's footsteps at all. "By the way tell me when the background noise gets too loud, I forgot to tell you guys the system can cancel background noise on toggle."
Chu Yin quietly walked toward the large thin zombie, even though the zombie looked thin from far away, close up the zombie was still 2 meters thick. The zombie didn't seem to notice Chu Yin, the zombie just continued to walk. "Hey" Chu Yin whispers "I'll send the drone to look around and tell me what you see when you get up there." Something appeared on the left screen [Wait, you can control the camera and make it fly around?] "Ya I thought that was a given this is hardly any different from a vlog stream."
5 minutes later
"Hey what did you see?" Chu Yin asked the camera. The left screen, which is supposed to show important information, was filled. There were also 8 messages on the right screen. Chu Yin summarized everything he could read. It basically meant, there are zombies on the large zombie, the large zombie looks like a wall, it's heading toward something that looks like a sediment. "So…" Just as Chu Yin was about to talk [Barik gifted 1 point: Now] A bunch of people spammed the chat [It's basically a siege machine]
Chun Yin stared at the screen blankly, "You know the internet is a very trolly and chaotic place… I did not think anyone could time something on the internet without some troll ruining it, color me impressed." Chu Yin found a vantage point on both the settlement and the zombie siege machine. "It's getting dark. Let's camp here for the night. After setting up the tent and warming up a MRE. "Hey, does anyone in the stream know what the world government is trying to do to me after I released complete control?" [Almost every world government released an emergency warning saying this was a large-scale cyber attack and scam.] Chu Yin raised an eyebrow "Did anyone actually believe them? Which brilliant hacker that can completely override all electronic display screens in the world would show their face?" This conversation continued for a while, Chu Yin gained 10 points through the length of the conversation.
Then a message caught his eye, [Can you buy, like night vision goggles or something in your gear shop, because I'm pretty sure fire attracts zombies.] At this point Chu Yin was eating the MRE, it was Bibimbap , a Korean dish. You might wonder why he isn't eating a Chinese MRE? Well that's because Chinese people don't eat MRE's on the battlefield, they cook on the battlefield. Back to the stream, "Oh crap your right, my bad, my bad." [lol]x? "Oh come on, is it seriously that funny? I don't have everything meticulously planned like every other protagonist, you have to remember I was just a regular university student yesterday." Chu Yin quickly extinguished the fire and bought a night vision monocular for 3 points.
"Now that I think about it, in almost every 'going to another world' light novel I have read before I died it seems like the main character can... just suddenly come up with these brilliant schemes or plot not missing a single detail, like one day after arriving, like how could someone living in a peaceful world as an ordinary guy suddenly do these things?" [Plot]x? "You guys are probably right, the author needs to push the story forward… Right, let's see what is going on down there." Chu Yin says as he pulls out his night vision monocular. The chat watches in confusion as Chu Yin swivels his head. "I can't see anything… Can someone copy and paste the instruction manual for this thing into the chat. This is the model." Chu Yin says as he points out the brand and model of the monocular to the camera. Before any large blocks of text could show up a few messages showed up saying similar things. [Did you try turning it on?] An awkward silence. "I did not…"
Chu Yin quickly toggled off normal chat and stopped looking at either screen, even if he wasn't looking he knew that everyone watching was making fun of him, the only upside to this is that he gained 15 during this chaos. It took three whole minutes for the laughter to partially die down. Chu Yin put on a serious face, "Alright let's see what's going on down there." He holds the monocular up to his eyes (After turning them on) and takes a look down.
"Looks like the settlement is losing… the zombies are walking straight in from on top of their flesh siege machine… well can't be helped I still need to figure out if I'm considered well geared, I don't want to get myself killed." No one in the chat told him to go save the people, Chu Yin just felt like he should explain. "The internet is a cold place…"
