"Azazel?! What in hells name are you doing here?!"
He chuckled and said.
"So many things I could be doing here great seer but I am actually here as protective detail for Mirabelle. Someone believes she is in grave danger or will be. She is always to be within range or where I can sense her."
"Who sent you?"
"The person wishes to remain anonymous Great One."
I could not sense any form of danger from him and I just knew he was right.
He was here to protect Mira but what supernatural force could make such a decision? Summoning one of the princes of hell?
I refused to dwell on it as Azazel called the cops and in no time, Annabelle was arrested and put in jail for trial. I refused to involve Mira at that part and said I'll get her statement later as she was still in shock.
Azazel went off but was surely within range. I went to Mira's room but hesitated at the door. How was she feeling? What was I going to say to her?
