Chapter 38 - Chapter 38

Oliver received a sentence of 15 years in prison for the attempt to murder and the domestic violence charges. Rosalie and Johnathan decided the venue that was the scarlet garden. Now, Johnathan was told about his miraculous recovery, it both amazed him and shocked him. It was not only uncommon but a disbelieve able occurrence that Rosalie elaborated to him. 'I am just beyond fortunate to have such a special life partner!' he told her. 'I am more fortunate that I was offered this chance after my grandpa!' she said to him. They visited the Scarlet Garden and took care of all the arrangements for their wedding ceremony.

They all decorated the scarlet garden with white transparent drapes decorated on a frame for the bride and groom. It was decorated with white roses as Johnathan liked. They decorated the rest of the garden removing the table from there arranging the sunflower and lavender along the side. The roses in the scarlet garden constitute the background of the isle. And on the other side which was the entrance from the house to the garden had sufficient rows of chairs arranged for the friends and family to witness this auspicious occasion. Nora, (Mrs. Crimson) and Catherine (Mrs. Wood smith) arranged the dinning and the rest of the ground story of the house with a mix of scarlet and white roses with silk drapes around many corners, that gave the place a fairy like aura.

Nora had a little baby girl that spring and Cathie was halfway through in carrying a baby of her own. Even then she happily took care of the management as Rosalie did in her wedding with Eliot. They prepared Rosalie in her room, and she went in the dinning just to peep at the grand decoration and the dinner they prepared for. All of them were now gone till evening as it was a wedding event to be at dusk. In the last-minute Eliot arranged whit fairy lights and arranged them around the bride and grooms frame where they will tie the knot and along the glass walls of the scarlet garden. They were switched on and appeared like many fireflies dancing and celebrating the most fortunate union. Rosalie went down the stairs in her wedding dress and she danced in circles and swing many times as she did in her vision. She traced the steps as she did in her dream.

Then Anne-Marie told her to get finished with the preparation as all of the guests will be there in half an hour. She waited and waited for eagerly. And Anne-Marie who wore a salmon-colored silk gown came in and helped her in arranging her language. She was reading her granny's diary and her mother spotted that she read her last letter. It worried her a little a certain side effect of wishing was stated there. 'I had to wait a decade to unite with my beloved! I enjoyed a very long life, and he was not there with me! He died a natural death! I had his memories as a solace for the rest of my day!'. She must tell John about it as she told him about the unusual recovery of his. He believed her and that was enough for her.

Anne-Marie just couldn't settle her feels over the ground. She found herself to be just intensely fortunate to witness this beautiful ceremony of Rosalie's wedding. She watched her dance the same way and she uttered in a joyful voice addressing her, 'It certainly was you, my love!'. Rosalie smiled and said, 'Yes! Certainly! Mom, is your packing done? We must not be late the train is early!'. She gestured in affirmation and asked her, 'Rosalie, I have something to talk to you about! Let's go back to your room!'. They ascended the stairs and 'Here, take it with you!'. 'Who does this belong to?' she asked her mother. 'It is the one for keepsake! If you ever want to know something about my life, it is in here! And surely, your granny read it to make sure I was not writing lies in here! So, I wrote it all, just some of the important times in life that I should have conversed about with you in person!'.

'Thank you, mom! It is the best present ever, I'll say!' she said. She told her after a pause, 'It is a non-drifter account of life you can say!'. She nodded in affirmation. 'And Rosalie, I will miss you dear' she told her. 'I will miss you more, mom!' she embraced her in a tight hug and said, 'I will visit you often! So, don't you worry, and we will talk on the phone every day! Just make sure you take care of your health!'. 'I will my child!' she reassured her. 'Mom, there is something I am curious about?' she told her. 'And what is that?' she asked. 'Is there a dairy where granny wrote what the visions, I had mean?'. 'Yes, obviously there is! and you own all four of them! You can read it anytime you want to!' she went for her bag and took out the one with the title dreams.

She spends a good fifteen minutes and found the one she was looking for. Everything had its own meaning and as she could finish her reading into it. The Guests arrived and she placed in back in her handbag where she could continue reading it again. 'Where is our precious bride?' Catherine remarked with extreme joy. 'My god I cannot believe you look just amazing! It suits you so well! I was quite nervous about it, though at first but it is just so pretty!'. 'Thank you, Cathie, let's just tie your hair in this splendid bun and Nora said that she will place the garland over your head! Where is she!'. 'Here ladies!' she told them as she stepped inside. 'Wow! You look just gorgeous, Rosalie! The natural look suits you so well! Let's get finished with the last pieces!'. She placed the garland and adjusted the train.

'Where is our little fairy?' she asked. 'Richard has her and didn't let me carry her after she wore that elegant tiny gown salmon gown of her with the garland! I think he is obsessed!'. Rosalie laughed and said, 'Obviously, the little queen is precious!'. Anne-Marie and Angie came in and took the girls to follow them now. All the men George, Eliot, Emanuel and Johnathan went to the garden and took their places. Mrs. Holdcroft, Mr. and Mrs. Wood smith (Senior) and Nora's parent sat on the seats arranged in the garden. Eliot now stood near the isle with Johnathan and waited eagerly. The priest stood near them, and Eliot held the ring for John. Rosalie came down the stairs and walked over the fawn-colored carpet and reached down the garden.

Angie and Anne-Marie had tears in their eyes of great joy. Johnathan was fascinated by the beauty of their venue but also how beautiful his bride looked in that unique silk dress with embroider neutral-colored roses and the train with roses that almost looked real. The garland made her appear like the queen to his king, so she was and will remain a queen to her. He smiled with teary eyes, and she was threatened not to shed tears by Cathie and Nora. But she did anyway so they let her cry. They repeated their vows as the priest instructed them. They exchanged rings and then were taken to the hall for dinner. They cut the cake she baked for her wedding, and it had red roses that she made out of fondant. As the lunch finished Rosalie and Johnathan danced and in a few minutes the rest of the friends joined them.

That spring night was long and none of them slept. They celebrated and John and Rosalie conversed with all of them heartily without weariness. They had to leave for Turin where their grand marriage ceremony just for his father and the other family waited for them. So, they just couldn't quite make up their mind to rest. Johnathan and Rosalie gazed at each other eyes and both of them knew, that they will miss their company a lot. They were a big family and were there to support anyone whenever time necessitated. The next morning, early at four Johnathan and Rosalie left for Turin in the company of Anne-Marie, Mrs. Holdcroft, and Mr. and Mrs. George Earl. Catherine and Eliot, Nora and Richard along with their baby girl will follow them the next day. The ceremony was in a week, and they couldn't quite enjoy this ceremony without them.
