They went to her favorite sweet shop. when they were about to enter the shop Mona saw a sign board in the front enters. She paused there Charles stop behind her and thought what happened to her standing like company iconic selling statue just like McDonalds.
So takes a peek and read out the things that was written in the board.
" Special Season Take One get Two new specialities lemon pudding, Choco filled bread....."
said Charles as he gives the ending tone longer and look at Mona. Her eyes were sparkling and her mouth was getting watery.
And suddenly she started to have tears in her eyes tears of joy because she never missed any special even on her favorite sweet shop.
" It feel like a dream but its not a dream time buy as much as sweet we can " Said Mona with a titanic pose she enters the shop. The owner greeted her, when Mona turn to the owner amd was very happy because she know him very well. They chatted a little he ask how she was doing and Mona asked how his sales are. After a short chat.
" Here comes the serious part " She stares at the sweets thinking which one to take.
" Why are you thinking so much as if your life depends on it " said Charles as he looks at the other sweets.
She sobs and whispers to him " Because i don't have enough money to buy all of them " she hugged his arm and started to sob " It always happen every season aa.. i am so poor if only someone could have help me pay" said Mona and opened one of her eyes to take a peek to look at Charles.
" if you don't wanna buy then lets go " said Charles as he started to walk out with a straight disappointed face but Mona holds him back.
" When i said i don't want to buy i just said i don't have enough money to buy them" said Mona as he looked at him with puppy eyes which where sparkling and making him blind.
At the end Charles buys all the new season favor. As the Mona was checking on other sweets. The owner was packing the sweets in his special season bag he turn to Charles.
" Young man are you Mona's boyfriend or something" said the owner as he pack all the sweet.
" Why did you asked " said Charles
" No its just that its why first time to see her being able to talk to someone so openly the first time we meet it was very hard to communicate with her she didn't have her own words" said The Owner as he started to tell Charles how he meet her.
It was a winter night when he was about to close his shop he saw someone sitting outside his shop he saw it was a girl who seems to be very tired and was carrying a heavy bag. He couldn't help but bring her in his shop and give her some warm bread she didn't speak a word and the owner didn't mind that. After she was warm up a little a leaves without saying anything. Then the next day he saw her who was in front of his shop but she was not entering as if she was thinking something so he took her in again from then on Mona started to visit the shop every time she got a change. She still love the lemon bread that he gave her on thier first meeting.
" When i saw her i knew she was a kind and sweet girl and it seems like she trust you a lot thats why she have opened up to you so much" said the owner as he hand him the package Charles smile as he takes the package.
" But just to let you know if your one of those who always bully her then your not going to see me smile like this again when you return here again". said the owner as he point a long bread on his face Charles just checkles and saids that he will never do that. And turn to Mona and goes out with her the owner couldn't help but smile.
