"Um, Alec."
"Yes, can I sit here?" Alec said with a little smile.
Adela lightly nodded her head and said, "Did your match end?"
Alec smiled as she heard Adela. She believed Adela was so preoccupied with something that she was ignorant of the announcement. "No, they didn't call on me," she responded.
Adela gave a little head motion but kept quiet. Alec turned her focus and opened her mouth to speak to Adela. She asked, "Why are you here? Don't you want to see it?"
Adela turned her attention from Alec to the railing's edge. She paused for a moment before continuing, "I wasn't feeling like watching it. What about you? Why are you here?"
"The same goes for me; I wasn't enjoying the matches. So I've come to take a break."
Alec responded to Adela with a smile on her face. Adela looked away from Alec and nodded. When Adela became silent again, Alec spoke out. "Adela, if you don't mind, may I say something?"
"Yes."
