Regretfully, James was gazing at her. Adela kept her eyes fixed on him while delicately furrowing her brows. Yet just where the stone rested on her breast, she instantly felt warm. She rushed her attention away from James as her eyes widened. She had to control her expression, or else that man might think something was wrong. The warmth began to increase. Adela held the crystal in her hand and pondered whether everything was well with him.
"Camilla," Adela said hurriedly.
Camilla responded, "Yes," as she turned back to face Adela.
"I need your help, Camilla."
"What is wrong with you, Adela?" Camilla questioned, her brows arched.
"I need to use the restroom, but I don't think I can get there easily," Adela said.
