Roy gave a little head nod. The maid stepped aside to make room for Adela when she was cleaning the prince's brow. Camilla was directly in front of Adela as she made a steady advance toward the prince. When she rolled her eyes, Camilla glanced over at Richard's bedroom. She approached the window gently and peered outside. She checked something, then turned around to refocus on Richard.
Adela moved cautiously toward the bed's edge. She reached out to touch Richard with quivering hands. She was unaware of what was taking place in her body. She softly stroked his forehead. Everyone's attention was focused on Adela.
"His body temperature is abnormally high. What did the physician say?" Adela stared at him and asked questions.
"He stated he wouldn't be able to get the prince back," Aaron stated while displaying concern.
"He was correct, though," Camilla said quickly. She made a U-turn and moved forward.
"Someone cast black magic on him."
