Camilla observed him with widening eyes. A sly smile broke out on her face suddenly. She looked at Alfred and pondered. Alfred was conversing with the man about something. Camilla attempted to hear it. She overheard them discussing an expedition, but she was no longer planning to join them. She also needed to complete some significant work here.
When Alfred walked forward and entered his bedroom without pausing, Camilla took a step back. Camilla groaned and rubbed her chin.
"I want to meet my rival as well." She followed Alfred's lead by moving gently in that way. She observed Alfred enter the room and shut the door. Camilla remained still for a moment before turning around once again.
Camilla returned to the room and sat down next to Adela. Adela was sound asleep. She continued to look at her. She smiled and reached out her hand to stroke Adela's cheek.
