"What do I like?" Camilla mumbled as she clutched her hands over her chest. Max looked at her indifferent expression once again. He reasoned that if she truly could not recall some aspects of her experiences, she might try something else. While doing it slowly, she would regain all of her memories, since she had not lost her entire memory, and it appeared that it was the outcome of a momentary shock. Max pondered whether she would remember everything after taking a break for a few days.
Camilla remarked abruptly, "Did I truly help him?"
"Yes, you did," he answered as he moved away from her and gazed at the moon. "And I ended up following you there."
"What?" Camilla asked in a startling tone as she turned to face him.
Max blinked while gazing at the moon. He didn't want to say anything like that, but he couldn't stop himself from doing so.
