Draven raised his hand to reveal a sheet of parchment paper on the tabletop. Adam noticed a look of excitement in Draven's eyes. Adam, however, could not continue to stand there at that time. His balance was off.
While speaking, Draven walked up to the table and started to scroll the parchment paper. "Adam, this is the oath. Do your job, then give me the position." Draven's eyes glowed.
Adam struggled to open his eyes and murmured, "I'm going to die, you heartless, selfish monster, but I will not do this. The things I saw in the crystal orb were all true, and your story will finish as soon as your misdeeds' consequences touch this land. At that point, the monstrosity will also consume you."
"My misdoings? Will my sins consume me? Are you dreaming because you lost a lot of blood?" Draven stated this contemptuously.
