A loud yawn enveloped the room as Kean woke up, "learn to close your mouth while yawning bro, I almost saw your stomach", Kinea said while he laid down beside him.
"Cut me some slack, I just went through a tree".
"Me too but you don't see me exposing my food when I yawn".
"Oh shut up", he replied while getting off the bed and looking out the window at the bright morning sky. "Where is everyone?".
"Not sure, I heard some noise from around the training room downstairs though", Kinea responded.
"Wanna head over there first or have a very first?".
"I'd rather have the latter option first".
"Good thing there are two bathrooms", he said while making his way out to the open corridor with his brother following on.
Kean entered the first one and Kinea opened the second, he was immediately stuck in place from what he saw.
Rachel wore small pink panties while she was trying to fix her bra buckle, the bathroom was large with numerous tiles, light bulbs, soaps, creams and other cosmetics. She stood only a few feet from the door, she had a very curvy body with smooth skin.
The two were stuck in place, shell-shocked. One by surprise and the other by embarrassment and shame. "Hey Kinea, is there an extra towel there? I think the ones here have run…", he said while walking to the door and looking through.
He was immediately stunned by the sight, Rachel's face turned bright red and she quickly buckled her bra and grabbed a very conveniently placed wooden chair, throwing it straight at them with lightning speed.
The twins run in opposite directions, dodging the impending attack as the chair breaks on impact and she slams the door shut.
"I'll just bathe after you", Kinea says in a defeated voice.
"Why are you sounding so gloomy? That was just what I've been waiting for", he replied but Kines quickly covered his mouth and whispered, "She could still be listening to us".
"Ah sorry".
After a few minutes, the twins now bathed make their way downstairs. "Congratulations!!", everyone bellowed at them. Brock, Oscar, Maisse and even the headmistress were there. "You two lasted seven days in the spirit tree, that is the highest anyone has lasted this year", the headmistress states.
"Really?", the twins asked.
"Yes, the spirit tree drills your spiritual energy. Simultaneously increasing it and its compatibility with your body however, this is very tasking and tasking and takes a toll on your body and when the tree realizes your body can't take anymore, it takes you out".
"It also drills you mentally with tests from your past traumas while showing you visions and possibilities of the future, to last seven days is extremely hard so this is quite something".
"Is it the school's highest record?", Kinea inquires.
"Nope, just last year there was a boy from the Roman Kingdom that lasted twelve whole days in there. He emerged as the top graduate with zero losses in duels and thirty wins, his name was Andrew Simmons".
"Crazy, how strong was he?", he asked.
"Very, he was on the level of the soldiers and he grew at such a fast race. If I'm being honest, he was frightening".
"Well, that's enough talk. You guys need to eat and get ready for school", Brock says.
"School!?", the twins questioned unanimously.
"Didn't you come here to learn, it's called a school for a reason", Oscar says.
"Hold up, where's Rachel?", Kean asks.
"Ah she's just by that corner", he replied while pointing at the right corner where she stood shooting daggers at the twins with her eyes. "Let's just try and ignore that", Kinea mutters.
"I completely agree", he responds.
The Babylonian students finally head towards the school region, a large building which branches off into two other buildings all coloured a beautiful silky white.
"Ahh, I hate school!!", Kinea cried.
"We all do but we don't really have a choice. We're already halfway through the course and at the end of the month we'll go for our final exams", Maisse explains.
"Stress", Kean whispers.
"Kean our bet is still on, I ain't losing to you. I will get it before you!", Kinea proclaims.
"You can try all you can but you will never reach me", he replied with pride.
Upon entering inside, the halls were full of different students and teachers from different kingdoms. "So how are we supposed to know our classes?", Oscar asks.
"The Kings has already set courses for all of us", Rachel states while handing everyone a pamphlet which comprised of their names and courses.
"Seems like we all offer the same courses".
"And the first thing we got is composing", Kinea says as they make their way there. A huge hall filled with students and at the centre was the headmistress.
"Take your seats, everyone. Let's start our class".
"Everyone takes their seats and the class commences "Good morning students, welcome for another class. I welcome in the new Babylonians in our mist, the two twins who lasted seven days in the spirit tree".
"As a reward, they will have seven hundred school points to their names each. Which should be more than enough to get them through to the final exam".
"What are school points?", Kean asks.
"These are the merits that the school runs on, each person usually has two hundred and then through performance in classes and stuff it increases and you need five hundred to be able to take the final exam", Rachel explains.
"The thing is, that you can take another person's school points by beating them in a fight".
"A fight? But both parties have to agree to it right??", Kinea questions.
"Of course but the thing is, people are very desperate and can do a lot to force you into that fight. The headmistress just set you up for a ton of battles".
"What kinda plan could she have for you?", Oscar asks while looking round and seeing everyone's gaze on them.
Murmuring envelopes the room and they all have one topic in mind, "How to conquer the top two"
