"Can I cuddle you?"
"You're pushing the limit," I sighed as I pulled the blanket higher up my chest then pressed my head into the pillow. "Cuddle Danilo."
"I am," and true to his word he was. Between us little Bucky slept on his baby sleep pillow dressed in a fuzzy black onesie and a horse plush against his chest. After Benedito's speech I had chosen to compromise for all of our sake before he had a melt down.
Since he wanted us to try for some normalcy I had allowed him to sleep with me. He on the other side of the bed and Danilo protectively between us. We always used to sleep like this back in Germany, a lot closer and Buck in his crib next to our bed. I guessed I was using our baby as a defensive shield between us whilst I still wrapped my head around everything.
