I looked down to my clasped hands before letting out the biggest sigh in the past twenty-four hours. Even though I was happy to hear Benedito was not twirling his thumbs for the past three months in my absence, it did not necessarily mean I was happy about the decisions he had made and the manner he had gone through to get there.
Yet that did not mean I did completely hate him either. I figured Danilo and I could have been an extra stress to deal with, but family should not be seen as a liability.
