"Bilbob, I hate to say it but no one else seems like they can," Pa looked me dead in the eye as we brought our horses to a halt, "You got shot at whilst you were two minutes away from your home. You got pushed off the road and you went into a coma for five days. You were in a lot of pain, I know you were in a lot of pain and I know for a fact you wished you could just give in.
But you didn't because you knew you had a family to come back to and you had to stay alive for your baby so that they could breathe air even if you didn't. Now I know no one wants to say it because they just want to brush it under the carpet, hope you heal, forget about it or distract yourself with a new hobby but you won't.
