Billie Bob Taylor
Preparing dinner back in the old kitchen felt like old times once again. Of course, I did not live here anymore nor did Delilah, but we still knew the kitchen like the back of ours hands as we helped Ma along with everyone else cook.
The kitchen was filled with laughter and the men were mostly tipsy from Rob's pineapple beer. I envied them deeply but in two months I would be alongside them. I had instructed Benedito that as soon as Bucky popped out, he was to hand me a beer to help me quench my thirst for the past nine months.
Ma made my favorites whilst Clyde grilled steak out by the porch. There was a perfect blend between outdoors and indoors as music played in the background. This gathering went a lot better than the one yesterday and I was glad.
