"Clearly you two are playing with my emotions," Ma frowned, "How have you broken up but you still so chummy with one another?"
"We're still together but giving each other space. It's a like a break up, none break up," I looked to Benedito who gave me a small smile.
"But I don't understand why," Clyde sighed, "Did something happen?"
He and Ma were sitting on a couch opposite us whilst Benedito and I shared a couch together. We were not extremely close but close enough that I could feel his warmth. Not being around him now for the second week had my body reacting to him like the first few times I met him.
Yet my body was also so used to him that at times I found myself gradually gravitating to him even though I knew I should not. I missed him, of course I did, but I also knew if I gave in before he could work on himself we would be right where we started.
