Hans's family was able to organize with the CIA that if I gave information and evidence about my parents' operations, they would put me in a witness protection program along with my sister.
I would start a new life and no one would know who I was. My parents and their subordinates would be arrested, but I would have to stay overseas until everything died down. The opportunity was too good to resist so I took it. It was announced the next day that I had died. My parents were arrested a week later.
