Chapter 179 - Love and War, no sorry! Proposal and battleships

Robin and Cathrin walked off to quite a distance alone in the planet, holding hands together. The planet now exuded peace and tranquility. And more importantly there were nobody here. Soon they came across a small stream of river.

Robin stood before Cathrin, his heart pounding with a mix of nervousness and excitement. The serene beauty of the garden planet provided the perfect setting for his important question. He took a deep breath and began to speak, trying to find the right words.

"You and I have shared incredible moments together. You've brought so much joy, love, and adventure into my life. I can't imagine a future without you."

Cathrin's eyes shimmered with anticipation, her gaze locked onto Robin's, waiting for him to continue. She could already tell something was off about Robin since they had stepped into the spaceship but she didn't point it out.

"You have been with me even though knowing quite well what kind of life I lead and still supported me. I know that people think that I have power and money, but those who are with me know that I constantly struggle with choices. Thank you for being my support no matter my choices. So, here, surrounded by the wonders of this planet Mars, I want to ask you something. Cathrin, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Robin stood before Cathrin, his heart pounding with a mix of nervousness and excitement. The serene beauty of the garden planet provided the perfect setting for his important question. He took a deep breath and began to speak, trying to find the right words.

Robin: Cathrin, you and I have shared incredible moments together. You've brought so much joy, love, and adventure into my life. I can't imagine a future without you.

Cathrin's eyes shimmered with anticipation, her gaze locked onto Robin's, waiting for him to continue.

Robin: So, here, surrounded by the wonders of this extraordinary world, I want to ask you something. Cathrin, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?

Cathrin's face lit up with delight, a smile spreading across her lips.

"You've brought so much love into my life, too. You have shown me the world in a way I didn't imagine and changed my life. Even if you didn't have the ability, I would still say yes, a thousand times, yes!"

Robin's face broke into a wide grin, a surge of happiness and relief flooding through him. He extended the finger of Cathrin and on the spot he made a dazzling ring made out of Light. The ring looked like it was made of some kind of white crystal which reflected light and also seemed to pulsating with the light of its own. On the top of the ring was a small diamond that was quite elegant and beautiful.

"Cathrin, you've made me the happiest man alive. I promise to cherish you, support you, and love you with all my heart, for the rest of long and healthy lives. And yes, explore the universe too. Together."

Cathrin's eyes welled up with tears of joy as she leaned in, embracing Robin tightly.

"And I promise to stand by your side, through thick and thin, and to love you unconditionally. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Robin."

In the background, Myrene and Sigret, silently recorded the heartfelt moment. They captured the genuine emotions and the profound connection between Robin and Cathrin, preserving it as a precious memory for them to revisit in the future.

"Did you get all the angles?" Myrene asked.

"Of course, we will be able to make a high definition hologram of the event." Sigret said with pride as her drones were able to capture the moment.

Cathrin was happy beyond the clouds, and the scenery around made everything more beautiful and serene. She didn't like to care about costly things but seeing the shiny ring filled her with a bit of pride. Robin had made this ring out of Light so this ring was genuinely made by him, though he didn't have to expend much.

"This ring will always be a homing device for me. Even if we get separated in the universe beyond galaxies, I will still be able to find you as long as there is Light."

"You are quite the insecure guy."

"Well we are doing a job that demands security." Robin said.

"Hahahah . I am just teasing you. I love the ring. I can proudly say that the ring came out of you.. Wait that sounded wrong.."

"No.. No.. No.. You have said it.. It came out of me.. Hahahahaha.. I am going to laugh about this for the rest of my life... Hhahahaha.. "

Both Robin and Cathrin teased and joked as they walked around for an hour or so before returning to the spaceship, only to see everyone was already back. Cathrin subtly showed the ring, which prompted Rita and others to ask about the ring and proposal.

Sauvik and Ravi too congratulated him for getting engaged.

"You chose Mars specifically for the proposal. Didn't you?" Sauvik asked as he could tell easily what Robin was thinking.

"I need the peace and a beautiful location. This served as the perfect spot." Robin didn't deny.

"This calls for a small celebration." Ravi said and instantly, the three women ran inside the hangar of the spaceship and brought out tables and chairs for having a small feast. It was very easy to set up a small kitchen outside as everything here were highly advanced.

Within minutes a small kitchen was made with an elongated dinner table with chairs. The two cooks instantly got to work with chicken and some vegetables. While they waited for the food to be made, they discussed the wonderful scenery that they had seen around. Miller even went upto the disitant mountains and took pictures of the huge waterfall.

He was mesmerized just like the others. Soon the food was served and everyone had a hearty lunch since was it was already time for lunch. After having their food, everyone was back at the spaceship and it took off to go to the next location of the planet.

Amidst this natural wonder, the unmistakable shape of the Origin 890 Jump, a sleek and formidable spaceship, descended gracefully from the heavens.

The landing site was no ordinary clearing but a meticulously constructed military base, a testament to the prowess of the Terrans. With fortified walls and watchtowers, it blended seamlessly with the lush surroundings, as if it had been carved from the very earth itself. As the ship touched down, its engines silenced, the crew of the Origin 890 Jump emerged, stepping onto the terra firma of this enchanting world.

As the hangar opened, Robin and others stepped down on the ground. General Duke and some of high ranking officers were waiting for him.

"Welcome to East forward base of the Terrans, Supreme Commander." General Duke said as all the officers gave Robin a military salute and invited him in. Robin was then followed by others. The military base was huge, but one could easily tell that the soldiers were quite busy at the moment once they looked around.

"How are the preparations, General?" Robin asked.

"They are ready to serve, Supreme Commander. Your necessities had already been met." Duke said.

In the distant, one could huge Battlecruisers being serviced by the soldiers, cargo being taken inside the hangar and various others bouts, But among the huge Battlecruisers, there was one spaceship that caught the attention of everyone.

Amongst the bustling Terran base, with its military structures and the constant hum of activity, a unique sight caught the attention of the crew. It was a huge battleship, much larger and elongated than the Battlecruisers around. Even from a distance it was easily noticeable.

The battleship's outer structure, crafted with precision and purpose, showcased the sheer might and technological prowess of its creators. The hull, coated in a metallic sheen, was adorned with plating and intricate patterns that served both aesthetic and functional purposes. Deep grooves and ridges ran along the surface, enhancing the vessel's structural integrity and offering an imposing aesthetic presence. The hull's coloration varied, with dark hues of charcoal and gunmetal gray dominating, hinting at the battleship's military nature.

Massive forward-facing cannons protruded from the ship's bow, hinting at the immense firepower it possessed. Their barrels gleamed, a stark contrast against the muted colors of the vessel. These formidable weapons, ready to unleash devastation upon any adversary, conveyed a clear message of deterrence.

The battleship's superstructure rose majestically from the hull, featuring towers and domes that housed vital command centers, communication arrays, and sensor systems. The aft section of the battleship showcased a series of powerful thrusters and engine arrays.

This was the Keldabe-class battleship, a colossal vessel hailing from the Star Wars universe. Yes, Robin had decided to bring a spaceship from Star Wars franchise. He had visited Mars a few days ago and decided to bring the Battleship as their primary battleship in order to travel to Zora.

And what more could be better than this behemoth which was made to battle and burn enemies to ashes.
