By the time the boxes were all piled together, it was still not enough, so Robin had to travel to the side to retrieve additional building supplies. He finally stopped exploiting the game after 15 minutes. He had the impression that he had just removed enough resources to supply an entire nation. Like platinum and lithium, some of the materials were highly expensive and uncommon.
The most pure versions of these materials were what he had brought out, and he was fairly confident that if he sold them on the world market, businesses would come and buy them up, which would undoubtedly result in a few days of vacation in the mines of China and Africa, where those materials were available and people were being heavily exploited for these valuable items.
"Is this enough?" She was still in awe of what the Supreme Commander had accomplished when Robin asked her. When the question was posed, she was brought back to the present and became aware that she had been daydreaming.
"Commander! That.."
"That is just the power I have. Save your mental cells for something else. Even I have no idea what it is."
"I got it, Commander."
"Stealth would be your primary priority right now as you try to keep the base secret. We can move on to other initiatives after that."
Dr. Petrova nodded as she contacted the construction yard personnel and instructed them to set up factories. Power plant and refinery were first on the list of priorities because they were needed to build the other factories.
"Aren't these factories powered by energy?" They have the necessary materials but no reliable supply of energy, so Myrene had to ask.
"The Novus can link to this location and draw energy from it." Sigret gave an idea.
"But it will take several days. I don't want to invest a lot of time." Robin answered.
"Then we can bring some Dilithium from Star Trek or other such games which gives energy that could be used to power the factories here." Sigret answered. None of them had to worry about finding an energy source because there were numerous such energy sources available in all games that mankind was aware of. The Tiberium crystals themselves provided energy in the game, but since the resources were pre-extracted here, the Brotherhood would undoubtedly require some other form of power.
"Actually, sir, we have another enormous source of power that might virtually endure forever." When Sigret proposed a proposal for the power source, JARVIS 'raised' his hand.
"Oh, what is that?"
"Stargate Worlds was a video game that was once under production, sir. Before it was taken down owing to insolvency, it had only been made up to the alpha play. ZPM was a type of power source there. Would you like to try to bring it out?"
"ZPM? I believe I've heard about on the television program. Isn't it said that the energy in this object came from a sealed off area of subspace?"
"Yes, sir. Additionally, this was created for the alpha version of the game, which fortunately is available online in an inaccessible location for the public. Would you like to use your abilities in that game?"
"A game was only built for alpha testing. Let me try it to see if I can."
JARVIS wasted no time in allowing the game to download to his laptop. JARVIS played for a while until they arrived at the spot where ZPM was. The game was of the MMOPRG variety, and it was clear that it still needed to be finished. There were no HUD in the screen and it was in skeleton form.
But since JARVIS was an AI, having him was simple. They quickly arrived at the location of ZPM and brought it out. Robin was unsure if his abilities would function in a playable but unfinished game, yet the game embraced him with open arms.
Although it was a new finding for him as well, he was pleased that his abilities would also function on incomplete games. The biggest source of energy in games might have been ZPM. a power source that would keep going till the entropy peaked. It could produce a virtually endless amount of energy, which could simultaneously power the whole human race more than once at any given time and last for tens of thousands of years.
The ZPM was a yellow colored crystal with black lines on it. It was said that the Ancients had built these crystals and were almost indestructible. Everyone as curious about such an wealth and were peeking at the crystal, including Dr. Petrova.
She had heard the conversation and got a vague idea of what it could be. Robin handed the crystal over to Dr. Petrova who took it very delicately, fearing her hands could break it apart not knowing that even if she used a nuclear bomb on this, nothing would happen to it.
She called for the other scientists and then directed them to take it to the power plant once it was built. This thing was going to replace their power source so they would have to study it.
"I'll have the Novus constructors join the base to the grid, Dr. Petrova. Please be patient and wait a few days."
"Who are the Novus?"
"An alien race that is under me." As he entered the TARDIS, Robin stated. Despite having a question mark over her head, Dr. Petrova remained silent. After viewing the TARDIS, she was already perplexed, and now the Commander was a leader of a different race.
How strong was this man?
To examine the new crystal, Dr. Petrova entered the building site. She knew that she wasn't the Commander's top priority and that she would need to establish her value with her squad, therefore she couldn't waste time.
She checked on the crystal for a few hours before realizing what kind of horror show it was. That was only a very rough estimate, but this thing had enough power to destroy galaxies.
"This item reached the status of our most top-secret technology and secret, and no one is permitted to ever discuss this crystal. Is it clear?" Dr. Petrova announced to her coworkers. For her, this was a serious issue. Everyone nodded their heads.
They had access to such cutting-edge technology, and she was determined to assist her Commander in making the most of it.
Meanwhile. Robin was back at his home in Amsterdam. He had done everything possible to take on the next step. And the time to purge and infuse fear on the world leaders had arrived. Once the stealth technology was ready, it was time for attack!
"JARVIS, How are the various ancient sites faring in terms of exploration?"
"As we speak, Sir, it is operating without a problem. A crew was dispatched to investigate after the LIDAR discovered a lost city in the Saharan desert."
Robin demanded, "Show me the photographs."
Robin carefully examined the images that JARVIS had projected onto the mobile device. Even though there were a great deal of sand dunes covering the city, the LIDAR was able to get enough images to reveal the outline of the 20-foot-deep medium-sized buildings.
"The images from confirm rumors that the Sahara once supported a bustling civilization."
"Send a team with the most up-to-date equipment. Create a safe path to the closest town so that supplies are always available."
"That's finished, sir. The terrorist organizations, though, might push back because one of them has already set its sights on them."
"Really? Vertigo should keep his guard up, so send him over. After I build the new base, we may eliminate the tumor. Over a very long time, every single nation had mistreated Africa. These folks deserve access to freedom and amenities."
"I'll do, Sir."
It was the finest option for the team's safety in the Sahara because Vertigo had his own conscience and was invisible.
March 3, 2023
Many days had passed since a new base for stealth technology was established in North Korea, and it was operating without a hitch. Within a few days, Brotherhood would have a mobile stealth barrier generator at the ready.
In the infantry there were already soldiers known as the Ghost squad that were given camouflage suits that could hide them in plain eyesight. In the original game, these stealth troops had only one problem.
Dr. Petrova created a rifle using regular bullets rather than high-powered laser guns to solve this issue since when they used their gun, it would make them visible.
The soldiers now had more freedom to carry out their duties while remaining concealed and using their weapons till their ammunition ran out.
And Robin had already given them instructions to disperse globally. When the time came, Robin could always flick the switch as they would be assigned to keep watch on all of the world leaders in real time. The leaders will always be in their views without being aware of it.
