Chapter 3 - A Lovely Shack

Scylica and I passed by my old home as we walked through the autumn forest on a grassless trail. The orange, red, and yellow leaves fell slowly as the wind blew by.

We stepped on plenty of dead leaves as we made our way to her lovely shack.

I thought I'd miss my old home, but I feel better knowing that I'm going to live with the love of my life from now on. She's so... sexy and loving. I'm sure I won't regret anything.

As we arrived, I noticed how spacious her property is. The front yard was cut clean, and her backyard was bare dirt with no signs of any vegetation.

Plenty of trees surrounded her property; they all lacked leaves. However, I noticed a part where only stumps remain. It was located in the direction of the humongous lake full of deep blue waters and shallow streams, and the backyard of my old home; I often played out there.

Finished sightseeing, I walk up the wooden stairs of her shack while holding her hand.

"Make yourself at home." She opens the door.

*Creek...*

It was loud enough that anyone could tell if you had entered her house or left. Any thieves would regret trying to rob her.

"Wow your home is... amazing! It only looks bland on the outside, but on the inside, it's so cozy."

The windows were placed in all the right places and forced open with a stick: allowing the afternoon sunlight to phase in. It warmed up her home.

The living room contained a large wooden table with two skillfully crafted chairs tucked under it. They were kept clean without a single shred of dust.

The shelf next to the table was about six-foot tall and contained some jars filled with a couple of pure-white pearls and some random herbs. These herbs came in all kinds of colors: purple, orange, violet, and red. They all resemebled sunflowers or roses.

"Thanks. I inherited this property from my father."

"Oh? What was your father like?"

"Let's sit down first before we continue."

I feel like this is going to be a long talk...

"Okay." I grabbed a seat and sat down, relaxed.

She placed her seat next to me and began to talk, staring into the ceiling.

"My father was a great man who taught me how to live. He told me these three principals: Never give up, always be kind, and stand for what is right. However, I still do not know what is truly righteous nor can I always be kind to others."

"He sounds as great as you say. Is there more?Like what did he do for a living?"

"He's a mercenary, a portal mercenary. He worked with a group of friends: traveling across dimensions, space, and time through the portals that randomly appear on this continent. He often brought back the heads of hideous monsters and sometimes live humanoid creatures."

"Where is he now...?"

"I do not know... He gave me this home and just disappeared one day saying that he had an important mission."

"Oh..."

"How about you?"

"I don't even know who my real parents are..."

"That's okay. Just tell me about your foster parents then."

"Well, my dad barely speaks to me, but I can tell that he's a hard working man. I never see him complain or throw a fit after coming home from his construction job. And my mom nags me too much. She always yells at me whenever I do something wrong, but I guess that's normal. I just find it annoying."

"Ahaha... your foster parents doesn't seem bad at all."

"They never gave me any affection though..."

"That's okay... I'll give you mine~" She suddenly hugged me, pressing her medium-sized apples against me.

I embrace her charms. The way she said it, the way she acted upon it, and the way she looked at me so seductively made me fall for her even more. I couldn't help it... Why does she treat me so kindly? Is this love? Or is this lust? I do not know, but I am fond of it.

We continued to talk about random events until sundown.

---

I look out the window.

The darkness had swallowed half of world and the light has retreated into a corner, still shining strongly but slowly fading.

The sunset reflected across the lake while the moon shun from the opposite side. In the middle, it was a beautiful eclipse weaving from side to side.

She noticed my wide smile.

"Like what you see?"

"It's absolutely gorgeous..."

"Well, we're going to have to close the windows now. The nights around here are quite enthralling."

She swiped off the sticks that forced the windows open.

"Now I can't even see..."

"Don't worry. Just hold onto my hand. I'll lead you to the bed." She pulls me forward. I almost tripped.

We arrived in her bedroom.

Even though I could barely see anything, in the corner of my eyes, I could make out the existence of a closet and a desk.

"Err... I'll sleep on the floor next to you." I proceeded to sit on the cold wooden floor.

I'm already taking refuge in her house permanently; I'd rather not steal her bed too.

She undresses hops onto her bed, fully naked.

*Squeak*

"No, you will sleep up here with me. The bed is big enough for both of us." She demanded.

"B-but..."

Sex is tempting, but do I really want to be a father?

"Get. Up. Here. Now!" She grips my arm tightly.

"Okay! Okay!" I got onto the bed and laid down with my back turned against her.

She embraces me into her arms and presses her warm breasts against my back.

I-is she naked? I could feel her nipples through my thin shirt...

"We're husband and wife now so it's normal to sleep together. Everything will be fine..." She whispered seductively into my ears, breathing heavily on my neck.

She didn't go any further though. Perhaps I had just gotten the wrong idea.

Before I was completely knocked out, I felt a moisty creature sliding down the side of my neck. I was probably already asleep and just experiencing a realistic dream... I hope.
