Water from the fast flowing river flooded into the riverbanks from the wide movements of a giant creature. An outline of a long monstrosity, slithering as it propelled itself beneath the water's surface created waves crashing to the river's edges.
It was chasing the scent of blood, seeping from the unconscious man who was barely alive on the stones of the riverbank.
Making up his mind, Seth's natural instinct took over and he sprinted from behind the tree towards the oncoming creature. Seth was going to save the unconscious man. As much as he hated the thought of having to deal with any possible disturbances in his current little peaceful life, his character could not allow him to let the defenseless man die now that he saw him.
The head and eyes of a snake-like creature started to rise from the water's surface. Its eyes locked onto its prey that tempted it with an appetizing scent of blood.
Seth was not going to make it to the man and leave unharmed. The monster he wanted to avoid was too close to the unconscious man. Still, he wasn't going to back out. He had a trick up his sleeve.
The snake was actually a flood dragon. It was an intelligent monster capable of speaking, however, it did not think much of humans. Even the Guardians and mages were weary of its presence. Although not a true dragon, its power rivaled that of its distant relative.
The flood dragon's favorite snack were the soft insides of the man laying on the water's edge. With delight, it rushed forward ready to tear into the man's stomach. However, it was momentarily stunned at the sudden appearance of another meal running towards it and the unconscious man. It belittled Seth with its deep voice that shook the air.
"Dumb humans! Come! If you want to be eaten so much, I will always welcome a snack!"
The flood dragon rushed forward with more vigor. Seth was somewhat regretting taking on the risk to save the man. He did not know the creature was sentient. He had seen it before, but never did it talk. Seth did not want another enemy, but he was far too close to get away now.
Continuing with his plan, he reached the unconscious man and proceeded to open a door back to his miniature space in the very spot.
"Seal of Space!" Seth chanted and the entrance to his space opened up. The man was not as heavy as he had expected. He grabbed the unconscious man by his side and attempted to run into the portal.
However, the flood dragon and Seth had reached the man at the same time. The maws of the dragon were stretched wide and ready to bite down on the both of them. In quick thinking, he evoked a class one spell and shot inside the closing jaws of the flood dragon.
"Fireball!"
A burning ball of flame the size of watermelon hit the flood dragon inside its soft mouth. The searing of flesh could be smelled as it rampaged and twisted its snake-like body in pain.
"Human! You dare hurt this noble dragon! I will devour you slowly. I'll start by ripping you limb from limb and have you watch as I eat you!"
Seth didn't bother chatting with the angry flood dragon, and he made it inside his home preparing to use the spell to seal the entrance.
However, the flood dragon was fast. It dove forward and got its head and half of its large body through the portal. Seth and the unconscious man were knocked into his fields of crops by the tip of the flood dragon's snout as it charged inside the portal.. As it missed it and failed to chomp down on his two snacks, he attempted again and tried to bite down on Seth's head.
Seth freaked out and was about to use the spell close off the portal when a mournful shriek came out from the flood dragon. The dragon realized its predicament.
"WAIT!!! PLEASE! Please don't close the portal! I'll be cut in half!"
Seth was alarmed and taken aback from the desperate plea of the monster. It did its best to look pitiful, but to Seth, it looked like it looked rather funny. The monstrous flood dragon was trying to be submissive, but it didn't know how and only looked awkward.
"Why should I?! You wanted to eat us! You're probably stalling for time as it is now! I take no chances, monster. Especially with those that just tried to kill me." Mana circulated in Seth's veins as he started to evoke the spell to close the portal.
"Seal…"
The wails of the flood dragon stopped Seth.
"I swear! I swear upon my mana! I swear with the divines as witness! I will no longer harm you!" In desperation, the flood dragon evoked a spell of the chaos element, binding himself with an oath that if broken would cause him agony and a curse from the divine.
"No. Your vow is not enough. I don't know if you will still break your vow later. There is no option but to…"
Seth was cut off by the anxious flood dragon.
"Then this! Take this human! I vow to serve you! You shall be my master, but you must vow to free me after you pass!"
"What if you try to get others to kill me? There are too many loopholes."
"Then I vow to never harm you in any form! With my soul to be yours if I break my vows!"
Seth was surprised again. To go so far… The flood dragon must be desperate.
"You would enslave your soul?! An eternity as a slave?! Are you mad!?"
"To prove my sincerity, I will! Please! Accept my vow, master!"
Being called "master" was odd to Seth. Never would he imagine such a scene. He didn't want to be a slave owner after being enslaved for so long himself. But, the thought of a powerful protector was not a bad feeling.
Seth contemplated, but he didn't want to wait too long in case something else dropped by. Seth thought of options if things went wrong, but the contract was in his favor.
"Fine, flood dragon. I accept your vow."
"Thank you! Thank you for sparing me, master! I vow with the divines as my witness, I, Silver, will be bound as a servant and a slave, never to harm in any form against my master so long as he lives. May I be cursed from the divines and my soul eternally bound to my master if I break my vows."
At the end of evoking the spell and making his vow. the sky that was always the same in the miniature world darkened. The weather changed and turned gloomy. Powerful auras weighed down on everything in the miniature world. A harmony of otherworldly voices rang throughout the area.
"We have witnessed and will uphold this contract. Your fate is sealed. To go against fate is to go against the divines. You will receive proper punishment if you break your promise."
The divines did not say much, but they meant every word. Seth knew that well, as he was currently cursed. The atmosphere left just as quickly as it came. The divines we no longer present, but they watched the entertainment from afar.
"Master, your orders?" The flood dragon spoke.
"Silver right? It seems like you can't fit through the portal."
"No problem master. I will change into my human form."
The flood dragon's body warped and pulled into itself before reshaping into that of a young man.
A thin muscular man similar to the unconscious man walked into the portal. The light reflected with a sheen off the man's short glossy black hair. His light skin radiated under the sunlight of the miniature world.
There was not much fat on his body, as his muscles flexed with his strides towards seth. His steps were not awkward as Seth had expected, but refined like some noble person. He was fully in the nude as his large member dangled freely, bouncing against his moving thighs.
Seth was more shocked. He never knew monsters could become humans. Seth had only seen humans act like monsters.
Noticing his new slave was naked, he kept his eyes away from peeking at the flood dragon's lower half.
Seth thought to himself. "I guess as a partial dragon, even in human forms their lower half still reflects their mighty selves." However, Seth was determined not to be like his masters. He was was not going to force himself on his slave.
"I'm going to seal the portal and get you some clothes." Looking at the bloody unconscious man, Seth added to his list of things to do. "And I'll have to patch this guy up too it seems."
