Naomi leaned in and whispered to Laurel, "My affinity is Illusion. Unfortunately it's still too weak and I am only capable of using mental Illusions and not physical ones for now. So to everyone else you were just standing still as I walked closer and stabbed you."
Naomi pulled her katana out of her opponent and with a quick slash of her sword beheaded Laurel winning the fight.
In the stands the other candidates were confused at what happened including Nia. The only ones not confused were the maids, the other Sins, and Cassandra. Cassandra was not confused since she spent a lot of time with Naomi and both were aware of each others affinities.
"Illusion is not a common affinity." Kara said to the other Sins.
"Indeed. And the fact that she was using a mental illusion shows that she has a strong mentality." Andrea replied and continued, "Her having a strong mentality is good, she won't easily succumb to GREED."
Nora nodded and stared at Naomi with shining eyes saying, "It's a shame that her opponent was that weak. I wanted to see more of what she could do."
*Snap*
Nora, Kara, and Andrea turned their heads to Elaine and what they saw made them collectively facepalm.
Elaine had her Holo opened and was taking pictures of a confused Nia. She looked up at the others and just said, "Yeah, she was quite good using her affinity at the perfect time not allowing her opponent to know she was under a illusion." Elaine went back to taking pictures of Nia and even saw Rose and Luna doing the same as her making her chuckle a bit.
*Snap*
Nora disappeared from her spot and reappeared next to Naomi on the stage. She took a look at Naomi and saw her face covered with Laurels blood, but she wasn't tired.
"How was your fight?" Nora asked wiping the blood from the small girls face with a cloth that she took from her Holo's inventory.
In a quiet voice a blushed Naomi said, "...It was easy. She got riled up too easy and made too many mistakes not even thinking that she was the weaker of the two of us. In all she was too full of herself."
Nora smiled at Naomi's answer as she announced that the trial officially starts the next day.
"Get some rest girls and prepare to fight for your lives! The trial starts tomorrow and we begin with the Envy candidates!"
After Nora's announcement the candidates met back up with their maids and travelled back to the rooms.
Back in the room everyone was there but Naomi and Freya, since she was changing clothes and Nia's curiosity couldn't hold back her questions anymore.
"What happened to that girl that Naomi fought for her to just stand there like that?"
Cassandra was the first one to speak, "Naomi used her illusion affinity to put that girl under one, but it was a mental illusion, not a physical one so only Naomi and the ones put under the illusion can see it."
Naomi came back after changing during Cassandra's explanation and spoke up getting the attention of everyone, "I can only use mental illusions currently for battle and not physical ones. I think that when I reach Transcendent Rank I'll be capable of using small physical illusions in my fights."
"How come?" Nia asked
"Freya told me that my mentality is my strongest trait compared to my body itself so apparently that was why I have an easier time with mental abilities than physical ones."
"That doesn't make sense." Nia said tilting her head showing her confusion.
"Agreed" Cassandra stated
"Well it just means she has a better brain than you both." Nora said as she entered the room with Elaine to everyone's surprise but Naomi stood there with a smug smile.
That smile irked both Nia and Cassandra. "It seems that one win has made you forget that our sparring record is 12-7 in my favor." Cassandra said getting back at Naomi who's smile stiffened.
"So if you have a strong mentality then that must mean that you can block mental attacks right?" Nia asked
"Yes" Naomi said but started to get a bad feeling when she looked at Nia.
Nia slightly stimulated her LUST focusing it on her face giving Naomi a small smile. Everyone who saw it faces all flushed but Naomi who was getting the full brunt of it was just standing there her face as red as Nora's eyes.
"Naomi~" Nia said her name so sweet that it was practically dripping with honey.
"Y-yes?" Naomi answered back with blushing face full of expectations but soon woke up when she heard Nia.
"I ...Win." Everyone reacted to Nia's words and calmed themselves except for Cassandra and Naomi who was not strong enough to control there bodies to stay stoic.
"What?"
"I Win."
"I heard that, but what do you mean you win?"
