I wake up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock. I get up and out the bed and open my curtains. There's a little bit of sunshine that's visible through the thick and dark clouds. I make my way to my bathroom and have a quick shower. I put on some comfortable clothing and make my self some breakfast. Once I'm done eating, I get my bag and leave my apartment.
Today I'm officially going to go shopping for items that I can stock up in my space. When I arrive at the train station I go take my phone out from my bag and go on the navigation app. I'm travelling further out than I usually wood later today because I plan on going to a small village a little further away from City A to buy vegetable and fruit seeds so I want to keep the navigation app on while I make my there, just so I don't get lost. Maybe if I'm lucky my space will be able to store living things as well.
I save the location on the navigation app and get onto a train. The first order of business that I have going on today is buying a car, preferably a large van so that I can get it remodled in time for it to be strong enough to withstand all the rough treatment it wil probably receive during the apocolypse.
The train ride finally ends and I get out of the train station and onto the streets. I walk to the nearest bus stop and sit patiently on a bench until the bus arrives.
The bus stops on the road in front of me and the other people who have also been waiting for the bus to arrive. The doors open and we start to climb on. I'm behind a few people and I can hear the bus driver greeting everyone who got on the bus before me.
"Good morning," the bus driver greets me as soon as I step onto the bus.
I smile at him before I pay for my bus ride and find a seat by a window in the middle of the bus. I quickly take out my headphones and listen to music while staring out the window for the rest of the ride. When the bus gets to the destination, I tell the driver to stop the bus and take my headphones of and put them back into my bag.
Once the bus has stopped I make my way off it and walk for a few minutes until I reach the car sales place. There is a huge sign on the top of the building that says 'Dream Auto Sales' which is the name of the business. I see all the shiny cars lined up in the building through the floor to ceiling glass walls. The other cars are all lined up at the side of the building as well.
When I enter through the open door, I see a brown haired woman sitting at a desk so I walk up to her.
"Hello, I'm here to buy a new car," I say to her while looking at her name tag.
It says her name is 'Sabrina Lavender'. Sabrina nods at me and looks around. It seems like she's looking for someone, she's probably looking for one of the salesmen that work here.
She gets up from her desk and says, "Please excuse me for a moment, I'm looking for a saleman who can assist you, they're probably in the office in the back or currently in the middle of a sales pitch."
I laugh at the sales pitch statement.
"No it's okay I totally understand, I'll wait here in front of your desk."
She nods and moves away from the wooden desk before walking left and entering through a white door to what I assume is the office.
While I wait I look around the place trying to look for a van and I eventually spot one that's in the corner right by one of the giant glass walls at the side of the building. The big van that catches my attention is black and has a sleek look. It looks large enough to carry a group of people plus it looks like it can be modified rather nicely. The colour is easier to maintain too and it blends into the darkness better at night which is a bonus.
After waiting in front of the desk for a few minutes, I see Sabrina walking back with to the desk. She's walking in front of man dressed in a very nice black business suit with a white button down shirt and blue stripped tie. This man has black hair and dark eyes. When he reaches the desk, I can finally see the name written on his name tag, 'Lingyun Liu'.
"Hello ma'am, I heard that you're interested in getting a car here today," he says while shaking my hand.
"You can call me Cassandra."
He smiles and says, "I trust that you've taken a good look around here Cassandra, seen any car you're interested in?"
Lingyun gestures around the place at all the cars around us.
I nod my head and immediatly turn my attention to the black van I was looking at before he got here.
I point at it and say, "Yes, I quite like that black van over there, it's perfect."
"Let's go and take a closer look at it."
He tells me to walk with him until we're standing in directly next to one of the doors of the van. He opens the door and let's me look inside. There are three black seats at the front and the rest of the van has a black interior with no seats, the doors cover up the entire part of the van that has no seats. There are only windows at the doors that open up to the seats in the front.
Now that I've seen the interior, I like the van even more than I originally did, which is a lot.
"Is the interior okay for you?" Lingyun asks while he holds the door open.
I nod enthusiasticly.
"This van is absolutely what I was looking for, it's beautiful."
He smiles as he closes the door then he shakes my hand.
"This vehicle is selling for about 15 000, will that be okay for you?"
I nod confidently, "Yes, it's a fair price, I want to pay it off fully right now."
"That would be brilliant, please just wait by the front desk while I go and print out the paperwork."
He walks off back to the office quickly while I wait to finally get the van.
When he gets back to me with the paperwork in his hands, he seems to be smiling from ear to ear. He is making a great sale though so I can't blame him.
I sign all the paperwork and Lingyun hands me the keys and he get someone to get the car ready for me so I can leave. Lingyun heads outside of the building with me and when I see the van is in the parking space.
"The car is officially yours now, the tank is currently full and if you encounter any problems with it during the first year you can always bring it back here for our mechanics to take a look at it."
Lingyun then opens up the front door for me and I climb in and get ready to drive off.
Before I go, I ask him for one of his business cards which he gleefully gives me.
"I'll contact you if I need another vehicle or if I have any queries, thank you."
After we say our goodbyes Lingyun goes back into the car sales building and I get my phone out of my bag and click on the icon for the navigation app I opened in the morning and start the journey to the village I had previously saved the directions to.
