Chapter 141 - Heartfelt Good-bye¡¡

Silence settled in the kitchen as all three fell deep in thought until Rhya decided to question out loud.

" So, what do you think Seth was planning to do with him?" she asked as she looked at the other two, who just shrugged at the question. Oblivious of Seth's plans.

" I still have to finish dinner. Instead of wasting your time with idle talk, why you two don't lend me a hand!" Tyla said as she waved a laddie in the air at them, looking distressed at the sight of smoke that rose in the kitchen.

While the three dealt with the burnt food, far away in Somkethren castle, Sadhya was enjoying torturing one of the men that she had trapped inside the circle.

As she dragged the man by his hair across the floor as he was trying to free himself from her clutches. The other man lying on the floor woke and looked around, confused for a brief moment. Before the Sadhya would even notice that he was awake, he grabbed a book and ran out of the underground chamber as if it was on fire, through the corridors making the maids scream and gasp at the sight of the naked man.

Sadhya kept herself entertained with the other man as she slammed his weak body against the wall and punched him hard enough to draw blood. Unaware that the other man had already slipped through her fingers.

The man glared at her and wiped the blood off his lips with his thumb, sucking on it, humming in pleasure at the taste. A throaty chuckle escaped his lips.

" Impatient as always!" he smirked, looking at her with an impassive expression.

Sadhya punched him again " I've been patient long enough, now why would I waste a good opportunity like this!" she smirked back, waving her hand at the length of his body.

The man hummed in agreement, " I don't blame you. I see you've made yourself at home after I threw you out of Ellora." he continued smirking at her as he looked around the chamber.

" It takes a real man to handle a woman like me, and you're far from it!" she retorted, getting closer to him and punching him again.

The man grunted, feeling her fist hit his jaw again, this time harder than the last " If I remember well, and I do...hmm..those were the days...I was man enough when I fucked you. You screamed pretty loud!" his voice held a hint of mockery, his lips pulled in a lop-sided smile and bit his lip.

Sadhya took a deep breath and kicked him in his groin this time, and the man curled up on himself in pain while he muffled his groans. He was trying not to appear weak in front of her.

" Here is another thing that you will remember for the rest of your putrid days!" her voice was filled with hatred and disdain as she looked at him, ready to wipe him out of existence.

" Our time together is short, and I don't have time to play your games!" she said as she turned around to look at the other man on the floor.

" Crap! Oh, well! If Ettrick were right, he wouldn't be alive long enough to make it anywhere! she shrugged and turned her attention back to the man on the floor.

" Now, we have some unsolved matters. So why don't we do that instead!" Sadhya said sarcastically, tapping his shoulder with the blade of a dagger.

The man smirked " How about one last time. A little token on my part before we part ways." he sounded amused, but his eyes told a different story. His lips pulled up, revealing a bloodied smile.

Sadhya's face contorted in disgust " You're truly deranged! I can't think of another word to describe you!" she said in disbelief, scowling.

" If I'm deranged, I wonder how you would describe yourself. You've done pretty despicable things, and the way I see it, we belong together!" he reasoned, resting his face on his knuckles. An impassive look plastered on his face.

" I did it to get what was stolen from me! It is rightfully mine!" she raged, ready to slit his throat, but she held back since she still wanted to settle her score with him.

The man scoffed " You see, Sadhya, it was never yours. It was mine, and I would have shared it with you but became greedy like everyone else!" he reminded her what had happened as he leaned back against the wall.

Sadhya scoffed in disbelief " I know there is another gate to Ellora in this realm. Tell me where it is?" she demanded, pacing in front of him, throwing the dagger from one hand to another.

The man peered at her from behind his lashes " Why would I tell you anything, Sadhya!" he asked back, resting his hands on his knees.

" I need to go back home!" she said, almost pleading. Her eyes shined with unshed tears.

" So you can destroy it as you did with this kingdom just because you want retribution for something that happened aeons ago? Or is it because you want to claim the power of Arkathira for yourself? Which one is it, Sadhya? " he scoffed and dismissively waved his hand at her.

Sadhya fell silent. She had been trying to return to her home for so long and laid to waste entire kingdoms just to achieve her goal. His question only reminded her of the atrocities she had committed in the name of justice. Her justice, anyway.

" Both, I will reshape Ellora, and I will make a new world. Once I get my hands on that white-haired bitch, I can claim the powers of Arkathira and bring upon Ellora the dawn of a new age!" she gave her answer, confident in the future she had envisioned.

" I've already done that. How about something more original!" the man smirked, looking at his hands that were starting to disintegrate in front of his eyes, turning into specks of dust that floated in the air.

" Time is up, Sadhya!" he smirked again as he faded faster and faster, smiling.

" Seth, no!" she breathed in disbelief. The guardian wasn't lying when he said the time was short.

Sadhya let out a piercing scream that travelled throughout the castle and through the citadel making the people gasp and look around to see where the cry came from.

" You bastard, I hope you rot in the darkest pit of the Hollow!" she said as she glared at the wall that Seth was leaning against before he disappeared.
