I opened my eyes to see darkness. Eternal darkness everywhere. I tried to move but I was restricted. I tried talking aloud hoping someone, anyone could hear me. "Is this death?" I asked myself, feeling intense guilt and remorse for following something idiotic and to lose everything I had ever achieved. "If I ever knew that this is what I would get for following my idiotic dreams I would have never gone along with my foolish plan." Instantly I felt myself floating up and a euphonious voice – a male's I thought – was heard. "So, you are it".
The voice was majestic and eternal but after being in awe for a few moments my ears felt like it was being ripped out. All of a sudden, a small ball of blinding blue light lit the tranquil darkness and rushed towards me. It hit me with a loud "bang" and fused with something inside me. I became startled and then it started… the obliterating pain that was gnawing at the spot where the ball of light had diffused within me. Slowly I started losing consciousness and the last thing I heard was a monotone voice saying - attempting to revert fission to fusion and before I could contemplate on it, I drifted into nothingness.

Why are they so big, I thought and then realization hit me like a boulder- I was reincarnated as a baby.
