Alister and I walked through the castle hand in hand. I heard people congratulating us in the background. They clapped and cheered for us. I kept my head turned towards Alister's shoulder as I gazed down at the ring on my finger. It was a small red rock with delicate gold bands holding it to the ring. Such soft swirls were so small that I had to squint to see it in all its glory.
"It's beautiful…" I muttered.
Alastair smiled down at me, a slight blush formed on his face.
"I'm glad you like it."
"How did you make the band so detailed?" I asked.
"I have excellent control over water." He smirked.
I chuckled at his remark.
"So when's the wedding?" Leo asked from afar. She had a big grin as she walked towards us.
"Soon, hopefully," Alastair replied.
She shoved him on the shoulder, "It's about time. You had only been talking about this for years now."
Alastair rolled his eyes as Leo turned towards me.
