"I can't imagine people living here. It looks like a gravesite instead." Lacht said as he looked around the front of the garden. Piles of ashes and skeletal bodies lay on the overgrown green grass. 

"We'll get to the bottom of whatever happened here," Eden said with barely a glance at the site around them. 

They entered through the two large doors of the castle. 

*SSSCREACH* The doors squeaked on their hinges and slid on the door with an ear-piercing noise. 

"These doors are all rusted," Eden muttered as they entered. 

The doors slammed behind them with a loud bang. Lacht went back to pull on the door. 

"It won't open." He said with a slight worried shake in his voice. 

Eden didn't look back and kept his focus on the hall in front of them. "It must have gotten stuck. We can worry about that later." 

Lacht looked between the door and Eden. Deciding to follow Eden's words, he jogged behind Eden, who'd gone ahead of him.
