Alastair walked me into the town where Eden and Lacht had been lingering and now stood in front of a thin but tall building. There was a small worn-out sign at the top of the building that read "Apartments."
"Should we wait for them to come out?" I asked Alastair.
"They left this morning, but they should be back soon."
After Alastair finished his sentence, the pair walked around the corner, talking to each other in hushed voices. I grabbed Alastair by the sleeve and pulled him into the apartment. We walked through the lobby to the front desk, where a tall man with black hair was cut short and styled to the side. He wore a white collared shirt with a name tag on the side. He was talking to someone in front of us, but when he glanced at Alastair and me, he froze mid-sentence.
"Your majesty…" He muttered under his breath.
