"Break the curse?" I asked with wide eyes. "Can we really do that?"
"I don't want to get our hopes up, but through my readings, I believe so," Leo replied.
Mansi looked between the two of us. "Is that really a good idea? I mean, the guardians have been protecting us for as long as anyone remembers. These are our kings and queens. Should we really just take away their gifts?"
"These are not gifts. They are punishments for people I do not know, and I do not want to suffer because of it any longer than I need to." I said.
"Is it such a burden to you? Living in a castle with a crowd of people who love you at your feet?" Mansi asked.
