"Also, about the twins…" Helda started.
Alastair and I listened to what else she was going to say.
"They seemed off when I last spoke. They didn't seem like themselves. It was like I was talking to completely different people."
"Did they say anything off?" I asked
"Hmm…It was more like they were distancing themselves from everyone. The day they left, it was like everyone had forgotten about them. I found out that they had left days after they were gone. I just found it odd that they were only there when you had arrived and left right after you did."
I didn't want to think that they had any malicious intentions, so I told Helda that they had most likely left to go to the other side because of the war. Helda didn't seem convinced but didn't want to keep us. The sun had gone down, and the moon and stars were up.
