It would take about two days to circle around the Falling Sky kingdom and about four more to enter the Blazing Leaf kingdom.
I sighed, hung my hands around my neck, and tilted my head up. I thought about what I would say to Naeva or whether I would even be able to look her in the eye.
"Sorry, I left you to take care of the kingdom on your own. I also think I don't give a damn about the kingdom, and the only reason I'm back is to end the war for my love, who works for the opposing kingdom. But I'm glad to see that the kingdom is still standing."
I rubbed the back of my neck and cringed. I also don't want to look like I'm lying, so I sprinkled in some of the truth; however, I still feel like crap.
