We had been traveling for about five days. Those five days could have been shortened to about three, but with breaks due to exhaustion from Karmon, the journey took us longer. He was no longer pulling two bodies, but the powers he used in the fight against the queen tired him out, so he said. The rope that Karmon found at the Big Pebble Kingdom had been destroyed the first night, so Mansi and Maven now walked on their own feet without being tied up. They didn't try to run, knowing that Karmon would be on their asses within seconds.

When we passed the Blazing Leaf Kingdom, the others had given me odd looks, but I didn't bother with even a glance.
