"Meal?" I asked, "Is that some kind of joke?"
The man shrugged. His eyes didn't waver. They had a hopeless look about them.
"In a way," He muttered as he walked off.
Alastair tugged on my hand while I watched Meal wander into the crowd.
We continued walking around aimlessly until we came across. My mind was still stuck on the man who called himself Meal. I didn't even realize we'd stood before a giant gate.
Looking past the gates, tall white towers loomed like giants watching over the kingdom.
I swallowed hard and took a step back.
"Alastair, what is this?" I asked
Athena gates slowly opened, and the guards by the gate kneeled as we stepped in. Alastair had rested his hand on my waist while he guided me. I didn't mind, as I was too deep in my thoughts to walk properly.
"My house," Alastair replied
We walked through a field of grass and through the tall doors of the castle.
